Men's Fashion |OT| Style is eternal; But my wallet isn't

anyone know much about these:

i've been eyeing Common Projects but just happened to see this guy's shoes and how they're basically CPs minus huge cost and some small aesthetic stuff, I am sure the leathers used vary a bit too. most quick internet research says they're pretty damn comfy and get the job done. i wanted the CPs for their minimalist look and these fit the bill.

general thoughts?

Looked at some reviews online, and the materials/quality looks super low. I would say do not buy but if you want just the look of CP, your decision.

Store near me just got some Philip Lim items.;

I wish I had the confidence a.k.a model looks and body to pull this off and not give a fuck.

I think you can easily pull off the bomber if the rest of your outfit is subdued. The shorts are a harder sell.
Yeah, me too.

I don't think I'd wear the jacket but I can see how it would look cool in the right circumstances.

I'm not sold on the shorts at all. There is the same amount of detail from the jacket cramped into a third of the material. It looks too busy.

I've been picking a bunch of items, mostly basics in anticipation of spring (white pants, red Vans, etc.) But I also decided to buy this when BR was having a 40% online-only sale. Hopefully it looks good in person:

I think the jacket or shorts both work when mixed with simpler pieces, but should never be worn together. Not even designers style their looks like that normally x_x Though Philip did sort of jam that print all over one model on the runway... maybe he ran out of mix/match options?

The jacket is probably the easiest to pull off and would probably see more use imo.

The other printed short from this collection is much more wearable (and isn't supposed to be athletic shorts) I think. The white shorts with the same print are a good alternative too, but it doesn't seem like those are for sale yet.

Generally, doesn't luxury clothing just get dry cleaned for the most part? (hand washing is also another alternative and usually what I see being recommended for custom pieces)

I'm pretty sure the Pantofola d'Oro's I got are a half size to a full size too big :( I can still get away with wearing them I guess but they look a bit weird

Anyone come across this Fred Perry top before?

Is it this one? Seems like it was an old shirt they reissued as part of a new collection. That price tho....

How are Dockers' shorts?

They make shorts?! But they give me a bit of an 'older dad' vibe. Seem to be a good price though... maybe I'll try some on next time I'm at a JCPenney's/Macy's/Kohl's.

I quite like the top, but rolled up trousers, dress shoes and no socks is something I will never understand.

It's like anti-fashion or something.

That ankle peek is so sexy. I wish they rolled up his trousers a bit more neatly.

It's actually a pretty 'fashion forward' styling and works well visually in some cases. Though in reality... foot sweat ew.

so gilt canceled my sunglasses order and gave me $10. I wonder if I should buy another closeout pair and double my winnings.

I've gone sockless a few times and it's not bad assuming you've broken in your shoes. otherwise it hurts.

code didn't work, and there really isn't much I want to buy... so I just got a pair of raf simons tortoiseshell shades instead.

midnights, that Acne dip dye sweater is amazing... :(
if you're a medium there is cashmere...
