Men's Fashion |OT| Style is eternal; But my wallet isn't

Went to the brand new Elder Statesman store in L.A. today, met the creative director, bought a stupid expensive cashmere t-shirt. Cashmere teddy bears are only 1k, folks.

Went to Uniqlo to print out a bunch more t-shirts of my face, but the make your own t-shirt station was broken today. Sorry Kaeptain, your shirt will have to wait.

Picked up a pea coat, there's slight tightness on my armpits, but it fits just fine for the rest of my body. I can wave my arms up and extend forward without feeling tension (the sleeves ends just before my wrist), but that's with the button open.

Shoulders seem to be fine, without too much bunching when I have my arms up or extended forward.

I was wondering if it's an ill-fitting coat, or if I'm overthinking it. How much tightness is "allowed"?

if it doesn't look like your buttons are straining and you're comfortable, it's really a matter of taste and whether or not you want to jam a bunch of layers underneath or not.

Latest purchase, the fit is incredible. This is my second pair of Nudie Jeans.

THIN FINN GREY ONYX
This one has a grey weft which gives the denim a well-worn, blue-grey look. It’s has been washed pretty hard to get this strikey, luxurious, almost velour-like surface with a dry hand.
Stitches and seams all in dark grey, gunmetal trims. 11.5 oz. Turkish comfort stretch, 99% organic cotton, 1% elastane. Made in Italy.

Hey guys, where's a good place to get a suit that isn't going to set me back $400? Walking through Macy's today I saw sales on Alfani suits for ~50% off. Would I be crazy to go for that? Where do you guys get suits that are affordable?

Wow, love the way these look. How do you not fuck them up when washing? I don't believe in washing my jeans often, but when it comes to that.

looked in my closet and i just realized that i bought a buttload of long sleeve shirts that i saw at Gap/Express.

i mean like 15 pairs. They always look so good in the mannequins, and then i buy them because they fit a certain look. but i don't wear them for a while and forget what they are supposed to go with.

I need to embrace the short sleeve life. but it's intimidating with my long arms

Just bought these the other day but the tapered ted fit.

Nudie have repair shop in Soho that fixes your jeans for free.

Some of those Neil Barrett shirts are pretty cool but I don't think I've ever bought something as it came out. Imagine it's full price or nothing for a while?
