Does anyone here have experience with Hurberry heritage trench coats?

Rainy season is a few months away for me and I have always been in love with trenches. I haven't shopped around much for one, but the Classic Westminister looks perfect for me, except the stupid house check undercollar, which is the one thing putting me off it. I just love the length of this compared to the others in the Heritage collection.

My main question is, does it handle the rain as good as they claim? I want to be bone dry under it in the middle of a downpour. I have to walk between buildings several times a day and don't want to be soaked.

I don't know about burberry heritage but I was fairly dismissive of undying forum praise for stuff like loro piana storm system (claims of wind/waterproofing and temp control) until I got a jacket made of the stuff and it is no joke and works like a dream. I'd assume classic burberry trenches which have a similar rep for foul weather mastery are on that same level. tangentially, but I have seen sales associates in high end stores here in seattle demoing herno outerwear and isaia aquaspider in the omnipresent rain

Cool, I will give some of those brands a look and see if they have anything stylish and as long as the Westminster. I like that it goes down to around the knees.

Again, I am biased on fragrances. I pretty much exclusively use Acqua di Parma. I am scared to test their Oud fragrance because I know I will love it and drop a few hundred on it.

kind weird that the ad copy didn't mention it, but the garment tags had the loro piana logo with a brief desc. of the fabric, and yeah, it really does work as advertised. i got it for 15% retail (aka $200) going by the list price lol.
