If it's on PS4 I'm gladly going to throw my money Kojima's way... again. I haven't bought any of the other collections and I really want to play metal gear solid 4 in 1080P at 60 frames per second.

I honestly could live with just a port of MGS 4 because I've played 1 and 3 more times than I can count and I don't really like MGS 2.

Regardless, if it ends up on the PS4, it's mine!

Yes yes it was, amazing game but i still would love to see Kojima Productions version of the game. They said in an interview they had some of the best boss fights they have ever made in the game but sadly had to cut them. I believe we will see some of those ideas in MGSV.

You ain't even wrong, guy. Personally I just hope they reuse the boss fight concepts for Phantom Pain, but I can't even imagine better metal gear bosses than Snake Eater's.

Oh you're right.

The only real redundancy though was the HD Collection and Legacy Collection both for 7th gen. Essentials was 6th gen. And this is presumably 8th gen, and likely the last for a long, long time.
