Unfortunately I fall closer to the camp of playing MGS (and most of the games I pick up in general) for story over gameplay, and I've sensed kind of a troubling trend over the last few years with most of the series I'm into, but... I've little real doubt Kojima won't find a way to deliver something memorable here and ultimately that's what will matter the most.
Also, MGS gameplay is amazing anyway so hype.

Incredible preview. Rarely have I heard Burns so hyped/excited about a game before.
Portable Ops controls very badly though, not surprising if you fail at stealth in that game.

As for Konami, I'm just thankful that they let Hideo keep going at it as long as he did. Even though Konami stopped giving a fuck and went crazy, killing and mutilating beloved franchises from left to right, I'm happy that we MGS fans made it this far.
