I still have one requirement not yet met to develop a different head for D-walker, if i remember correctly it is a skill a staff must possess. Any of you kind sirs know where i can recruit this dude?

Of course brother.
It will be one of the main missions, if you look at the top right on the mission select screen, you'll see what you can collect during that particular mission.

This is a bit of a reach but I had finally saved up the cash to order the Premium Package from Nin Nin Game and of course they are now sold out in the PS4 version :(

I don't suppose anyone would be willing to sell me a Premium Package (Full scale arm) PS4 version for under 450GBP, already a heavy mark up but really want it to complete my collection

Just S ranked all missions. The game is really lenient with what you can get away with. S ranking in general is a lot easier than it was in GZ. Allows for more creativity but makes for some incredibly easy S ranks.

The strategy guide said that the extreme version of the Code Talker mission is the hardest in the game to S rank but honestly it was a breeze. Sathelanthropus was also a cake walk with high level gear and an air dropped tank.

Either way, it was fun doing them all and I especially liked the total stealth missions. They really required some good old fashioned memorization and good timing.

Also, I only just discovered that you can centre the camera behind snake by tapping R1. Did you anyone else not know this or have I just gone through the whole game being dumb?

I think know MGSV's gameplay dethrones MGS2 along with every frickin game in the series and game out there. So yea, I really believe that MGSV will be praised for years to come.

Yeup! Easily my goty. Gotta be the best game since tlou. Cannot stop playing it. And i haven't even scratched the surface on replaying missions and experimenting. Even after 100+ hours

I think something has glitched.
So, i when i went to hit finish on making the community, i got a message saying something along the lines of didn't register the community, please try again later, so i did, but now it's saying the name has been taken. :_: But i'm not in a group. WTF. ?????????????????????

EDIT: I feel sick, i hope to god i haven't ruined our group before it hsn't started.

It worked brother, no panic. I found it under Friend's communities and there it is, I requeste a Membership.

Not the story. People aren't going to do a 180 like with mgs2.

Today, I started back playing Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain, (just completed Mission 31) and was impressed with the cut scenes and of course gameplay. I also seen an real touching cut scene involving an necklace.......also, to my surprise, and awesome birthday cut scene! Nice way to start my Name Day. ^_^

I'm still panicking, the thing refuses to load so i can't let anybody in. Does anybody know how to fix it. ?

EDIT: i just sent myself a friend request to one of my other accounts, and it shows up there, but not on my main account. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. ????????????????

EDIT 2: this is the exact message i get when i click on you guys join requests. "your community did not load correctly please try again in a few moments"

Happy birthday, my friend! I hope you're loving it. I'm on mission 24 and I'm still absolutely loving it. Some people shit on it a bit, but I don't see it yet. Maybe by the end, but I'm trying to make up my own mind about it!

Just checking in. Have 60% completion with 100 hours gameplay. Having too much fun and messing around. Don't think I'll platinum the game for awhile. :p

I have figured out why the group won't load, it's cause when i set which game to associate it with, i choose my old uk version by mistake, and any group linked to it i found out won't load. I've asked someone i know if they still have theirs, if not i'll buy a uk copy, because i don't want to fuck up Outer-gaf for anyone.

Sorry for the hold up doing this, i never meant to fuck this for anyone. i'm so very sorry. :_:

Nope. I actually loved the story. The only thing that I was hoping to see was the
"Standing"
part from
E3 2014 trailer
. I was really looking forward to that part and I still don't understand why it was removed since it looked complete to me. Anyway, regardless of that, I loved the story of V.

I had my theories regarding the opening and the ending clarified it and I was satisfied overall with the story progression. I didn't like the fact they took out the scene I mentioned in my previous post but that's about it. I don't think Mission 51 would have changed anything to be honest. It was just another ST-84 fight. I liked the whole parasites thing and the language theme and Quiet's character and her ending. Code Talker was annoying. I loved Kaz so much and his voice acting was frickin awesome! Ocelot took a step back and was the character that was watching the events without interfering much which is what he does anyway in every game. Venom played his role very well and the fact he wasn't talking all that much made perfect sense to me. The reveal of the game (2012) from beginning to end was very consistent, meaning that Kojima didn't alter his original vision, he really wanted that story to unfold the way it did and I think he did a pretty good job. I am still analyzing the names of some of the characters and why they were chosen in reference with the Moby Dick novel. The title "phantom pain" makes perfect sense and I think it makes more sense than any of the other titles in the series except for Snake Eater which is the closest to TPP. Yup, the name of the game is perfect! I still have a lot to share regarding the story but I am still in the process of analyzing it piece by piece.

Don't wait for it to get bad because it wont really. The only thing that sucks is the extreme repeat missions (they're still fun tho). I actually really enjoyed chapter 2. The story missions were all great. 43 was probably the highlight of the game for me.

Yeah. 43 made me feel more terrible than any other game has ever done.

Random anecdote: my dad has been wanting to see more games for a while and doesn't really want to learn to play them til he's retired as he'll have more time, so every now and then I'll show him a game. Usually he sees it and says cool or whatever and doesn't get too invested. I showed him a bit of Phantom Pain gameplay last weekend and today he was asking when he could see Metal Gear again! I was thinking of showing him Snake Eater instead of more Phantom Pain gameplay, so hopefully it goes well, I don't think I've ever seen him this interested in a game!

Heh that's that metal gear magic. The series is just on another level. He should just stay off the internet tho or else he'll start hating TPP

In a 'good' way I assume. That mission made me tear up. Only that's ever happened to me is TLOU.
That "Staff member has died. Heroism -60" message that popped up every time you killed a soldier hit hard man.
That mission was an excellent example imo of telling story through gameplay.

Finished the game loved it from beginning to end. Wish it had more cutscenes, and I had hoped for a little more variety in boss fights.

Unrelated to V.. I'm dying to replay Portable Ops, but it still isn't available for vita on NA. :(
