This is hilariously depressing, do they think anyone will actually buy this especially when MGO3 will be free?

Edit: Oh wait, only 3 buyable FOB's for now and those different options are just for one specific FOB so that makes it $60 to get them all. Still what I said stands.

That's kinda disgusting..

I was thinking I'd drop an extra $10-15 on coins if it lived up to my expectations..but that is terrible pricing.

I haven't played MGS3 in ages. I am up to The Fury and can't get passed him.

Is there a secret to it? I'm trying to tranq him but I'm about ready to just try killing him instead.

just proud of Kojimas work... and sad its his last. i'll never forgive Konami for not helping in making Silent Hills. but you know.. maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

whatever happens, just looking fwd to see what Kojima does next.

I feel the same, he always wanted to get out of Metal Gear so he could pursue other projects and now he can make whatever he feels like making. For a creator this is fantastic, though I hope he gets his team back especially the guys who have been with him since Day1 and some decent funding. The future may not be all dark. :]

he's definitely not going to kickstarter. i don't know why people suggest that all the time. kojima still has the clout to start his own studio or even join a big existing studio in a high position.

My feeling is Kojima was rushed on the SP and the MP. The MP became the most Konami influenced while the SP is deprived of additional features Kojima wanted in.

Download completed on ps4 now just waiting for the unlock...strange that I'm on the east coast but it shows that it will unlock for me at midnight est. I thought it would unlock at 3 am est

I was down to spend a little extra, but $20 for one fucking FOB? God damn, that is terrible. Where did they decide that was a solid price point? Blows my mind.

i would have spent 20 bucks total extra... or a season pass for 40.. maybe. depending on what it included.

but 20 bucks per FOB.. holy cow.

I wish Tora could clarify this.

The PES microtransactions according to a post in the Microtransactions page was something around 100 coins/week. If we assume TPP's drop rate will be similar per week it'll take 15 weeks for one FOB, 45 for 3. Almost a year to get them all.

Pay $60 or wait a year. (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ

After having watched Ken do his marathon stream of MGSV, I don't care about microtransactions at all. There is so much stuff to do in this game that they could drop the FOB and MGO stuff and I'd still be more than happy with the insane amount of game that is included in MGSV.

Who cares about the pricing? It was gonna be bad anyway. It's locking the ability to simultaneously complete more than two outer ops that's frustrating.
