A lot of you have added me on the PS4, but i will only be playing on it for MGO. My main copy will be the PC version. Unfortunately i only have a couple of you on my friends list, so could as many of you brothers add me, so i can help to protect your bases.

<3The PES microtransactions according to a post in the Microtransactions page was something around 100 coins/week. If we assume TPP's drop rate will be similar per week it'll take 15 weeks for one FOB, 45 for 3. Almost a year to get them all.

What's scary is that I might actually talk myself into paying for the coins since I got the game free with my video card. As of this moment, however, I have absolutely no interest in it. But there's always that little voice in the back of my head that says "come on... The waters fine..."
From what someone said in the OT, having multiple FOBs directly ties into a gameplay mechanic in the game. Nothing really major / critical, but still scummy to tie FOBs into a gameplay mechanic aside from the 1v1 multiplayer and then charge real life money in order to build extra bases feels ... scummy to me.

I think it's kind of a major thing. It's strange that it's revealed only after you S-clear all the missions.
Wow, that is a GIGANTIC plot point. Why'd Kojima leave that out, and not instead have Big Boss's speech be a real cutscene?

I'll definitely see this: micromanagement using the app would actually be quite helpful because in game management becomes a chore that detracts from the meat of the game.

The MGO screen and implementation of a Free Roam mode are pretty exciting. Reading the manual to brush up on some things.

Totally agree, very scummy/sketchy. I really hope that the impact is minimal.
I play/played several free to play games (path of exile, hearthstone, heroes of the storm, world of warships, to name a few) and very rarely will I spend real money on them. If I do, it's after playing many hours for free and I treat it almost like a tip.
The difference here is obvious: I'm paying full price for MGSV and my urge to give a little back likely won't be there for a long time. UNLESS the game really is that great. But this comes back to my first point about not having really paid for the game.
With everything, thought, it's a "we'll see" kinda thing.
Regardless, I totally agree that this whole thing stinks.

OK, so how is the CQC in this game? Is it as complex as in Snake Eater again? Hated how dumbed down in was in GotP.
Or is as in Ground Zeroes?
when i pressed download on the store it started downloading the full 26gb, then after a couple of minutes it reverted to 4.5ishgb of which it's taken 6 hours and it's still not finished. After the 4.5gb download has finished it's then going to download the remainder of the game, though judging by the time it's taken to download this small amount it'll be thursday before i even get to play, disgusted isn't the word.

just came back from my last minute store run, to get the game at least a few hours early.
one major retailer already sells the ps4 bundle but has still not received the single game copies
but then at another store.....

Try stopping/starting the download again.. when I first started the download I downloaded about one gb in an hour. I stopped/started the download and was able to download around 30 gb in about 6 hours
You don't need to S rank all the missions. You only need to complete all the Main Ops and Extra Ops.
