It's dissapoining that it's still not 4k internal but difference is MASSIVE. Now PS5 version on disc is literally the best version of those games.

This one will remain in my collection until i die (maybe it will be put in my coffin):

I bet Konami will do a mid AA Metal Gear with some of the series producers still at konami and david hayter heavily involved but i hope they do a full remake of metal gear 1 and metal gear 2 solid snake

Unlikely, at least at first.

They will remake the big hitters first as those will bring in the most revenue for Konami. I would expect MGS1 followed by 2.

For preservation purpose, I wonder if there will ever be a MGS Master Collection disc available for purchase that already has patch 2.0 burned onto that disc? Without any additional download from the internet.

So if you ever try to play these games offline somewhere, you'll still be running the patched resolution version.

Pretty much nobody makes an updated disc anymore. But I wouldn't be surprised if the PS4 store is up for another 10 years.
