then (SUPER ULTRA CLIMACTIC BOSS BATTLE SPOILER WARNING )
you walk around a room, a cutscene plays, then you walk out the door, and more cutscenes play)

that's exciting to you? to each his own

I mean when I watch a movie I'm not physically doing anything other than sit on my ass and maybe sip on some coffee so I don't see why motor skills are absolutely imperative. Presentation goes a long way.

Does anyone know if "The Man Who Sold The World" is a Bowie alternate version or a cover?
If it's a cover, does anyone know who performs it?

Man that was one long-ass intro.

Played four hours straight, cuz why not. It's the same Ground Zeroes goodness, except with MB micromanagement. Meh to that.

FINALLY S ranked mission 8 last night. Done 12 main missions altogether but the only ones I need to S rank now are mission 9 and 12 (what a nuts mission that is btw).

Any tips on mission 9? It's fucking ridiculous.

Installing game data, 507 seconds................... been like this for 45 mins now

Im on PS4

Is there a fix? Or does it take this long?

Sort of. I am able to connect sporadically.
I guess it's expected. I'd look forward to this when MGO is released in October. Can you transfer your Ground Zeroes save at anytime? I don't need to do it right away if I can't, right? I thought I saw someone mention Konami saying such on Twitter.

You're playing it wrong then.

Mission 16 minor spoilers

ignore the tanks and got on D walker and ride straight up to the target vehicle. The next part will begin.

It's the next bit that I can't do.

Does D-Walker make that bit any less bullshit? I can't get past THAT bit to extract..

Close app, eject disc, put disc back in, start app

If it fails, upload savegame to cloud, delete game, re-install.

The timer should work then.

Doing the Side Ops mission to find the Riot SMG, very early on. I can't seem to the find the blue prints? The marker takes me to the roof of a building with nothing there.

This happened to me. Had to uninstall the game data then next time when it hit the "507 seconds" message again, I left it for ~20 minutes and it eventually worked

Can someone please explain how fast travel works? I'm at a big outpost which I've cleared out. Now I'm standing in the orange shipping platform and out my cardboard box on and no prompt is coming for me to fast travel?

D walker with the gatling gun can drop those fools like nothing, although keeping track of them can be a pain. Once the 4 are down everyone else in the area will be stunned and you can drive the lorry away problem free. Just be careful not to shoot it with d walker.

I thought the intro was amazing. Sure I could do with less scripted crawling - as in none at a all - but I was too hooked on the presentation to care.

I'm still only at the opening scene but I gotta know, are there no more cutscenes in between start and finish?

I love how much exposition and explanations they go through in the cutscenes of Sons of Liberty and Guns of the Patriots.

Apologies if asked and answered already but this thread is moving fast and I'm not seeing anything if the Google Play store... Is the companion app not out yet?

Story Speculation:
Just finished the Prologue, and I couldn't help but feel that Ahab doesn't look like Big Boss. The proportions of his body are off, in particular, he looks too tall and skinny. This is very noticeable when standing behind Ishmael, whom I believe looks close to the proportions of Big Boss in the Ground Zeroes. I haven't gone back to compare between the Ground Zeroes Big Boss model and the ones used in The Phantom Pain, but it looked really off to me in the Prologue.

The
next part
isn't exactly any better/less frustrating :/

I just went inside the armoured vehicle (not tank) and used it to kill all the enemies lol, the last one destroyed the vehicle so I got out and sniped him

Just finished the prolouge, and I couldn't help but feel that Ahab doesn't look like Big Boss. The proportions of his body are off, in particular, he looks too tall and skinny. This is very noticible when standing behind Ishmael, whom I believe looks close to the proportions of Big Boss in the Ground Zeroes. I haven't gone back to compare between the Ground Zeroes Big Boss model and the ones used in The Phantom Pain, but it looked really off to me in the Prolouge.

Well he was in a come for 9 years, I would expect him to be skinny. But I fully expect a twist that Big Boss isn't Big Boss.

There are plenty of cutscenes, just maybe not on the frequency of past MGS games. The tapes are where all that exposition goes now, listen to all the tapes you get, especially the ones you're just given at the end of each mission.

Played the intro until
the patient and nurse were gunned down in the hallway from the heli
... Do I have enough goodness left?

He's been in a coma for 9 years. Of course his body is going to be different. It's deteriorated by being in a bed for nearly a decade.

Have you collected the shipping label from the triangular sign that's next to the platform, plus the label from the outpost you'd like to travel to?

If not you need to do both.

I got a code with the game, doesn't seem to like me, I am getting "The Prepaid Card code you entered is incorrect or is no longer valid" :<
If it's only for online stuff I won't care too much, bit shitty that isn't not working though.

You don't think 9 years of a coma would make someone look drained/malnourished etc?

The word is on the tip of my tongue.
