Metroid Prime 4: Beyond could be released on 25. September 2025

I personally highly believe that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond could be released on 25. September 2025 because of the newly released Kirby and the forgotten Land - Icon Set :)

This new Kirby and the forgotten Land - Icon Set is available until 25. September 2025 and usually after the expiration there is always a new Icon Set for a 1st Party Video Game.

It could also be Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment or another unannounced 1st Party Video Game for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo usually releases at least one 1st Party Video Game every Month and there is nothing announced as of now for September 2025.

This new 1st Party Video Game could be announced at the rumored Nintendo Direct on 12. September 2025 and then released on 25. September 2025.

Do you believe that the 25. September 2025 could be the Release Date of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond or another 1st Party Video Game by Nintendo?

The fact that this is literally not true should tell you enough that a release date in less than a month with zero marketing or Nintendo Direct presence (for the last 5 months) is obviously not happening.

I remember threads like this back when GTA V still had to release, and now again with 6, especially on the GTA forum.

Don't do this to yourself.

Metroid Dread had 2 months of marketing before release....and a concise release date which we still don't have at all.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond still slated for 2025 and playable at Gamescom 2025 the largest Video Game Convention in the World isn't Marketing?

What has December 2025 to do with your Statement that Nintendo doesn't already do Marketing for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond?
Okay, it was playable on what is NOT the largest gaming convention in the world, where are the trailers? Commercials?

Gamescom 2025 - 357,000 visitors

And again, where is the marketing?

Nintendo was present at the Gamescom 2025 which is Marketing!!!

Is that really that hard to Understand???

Journalists, Influencers and Video Gamers from around World are visiting Gamescom 2025 and writing thousands of Articles and creating thousands of Videos for YouTube about Nintendo and other Publishers which are viewed by Millions of Video Gamers.

While I long for Nintendo to adopt the Apple "Here it is—buy it in a month." method, I don't think this will happen.

From what I've heard one reason for the lack of a release date is simply that it hasn't gone gold yet. The rumor mill is now indicating a December release date, which I'm inclined to believe. But as we all know, it's Nintendo™ so a September shadow drop cannot be ruled out entirely, nor can a delay, unfortunately. We'll almost certainly find out soon enough in the next Direct.

iirc there was another rumor a while back that Nintendo has been sitting on finished Switch remasters of Prime 2 and possibly 3(unlikely IMO), albeit just upscaled GameCube assets, not the visual remake treatment Prime 1 got.
If there is a(nother) delay, I'd certainly take a Prime 2 remaster shadow drop as consolation.

I heard of reading tea leaves but not icon sets.

I didn't even know anyone had an icon reading gig.

13 days advance notice of the release date for this level/scope of game seems historically short for Nintendo. IT's not a remaster like MP remastered. And not a title of small scope.

I gotta go with too soon.

I would have less confidence in the game with this level of shadow drop. Or rather my confidence would be confirmed.

Apparently some Russian retailer had it listed for a September 18th release date, though that could very easily be a mistake. I feel like we would have already gotten a Metroid Prime 4 Direct at the very least if it were coming out in less than a month, though, who knows, Nintendo is notoriously unpredictable.

Personally my money is on October 30th, right after the Metroid Prime art book releases, and right before Halloween. Nintendo released both Luigi's Mansion 3 and Bayonetta 3 right around Halloween and released Metroid Dread in early October, so there's a lot of precedent for the company slotting spooky/dark games in that period.

Depends if they want it to compete with Pokemon Legends 2.

I don't think there's likely to be a huge amount of overlap between the audiences for those titles.

Scheduling MP4 in early December, which is the only other real option, would put it after Black Friday and fairly close to Kirby Air Riders, which seems riskier since both of those titles lack the locked in audience that Pokemon has.

It's a waiting game right now the only months that have nothing are September(speculation they may do something for a Mario Anniversary?) and December. And Nintendo's release schedule has been one big release per month.

I think if it was happening in September we would have gotten a Direct about Metroid instead of Kirby Air Riders. Air Ride is a pretty niche thing to be excited about being a racer and not a full fledged Kirby adventure game.

I personally feel if they yolo'd a September release it would be on the 20th. If only to be clever to switch the ingame year of 20X9 to 9X20.

Using the same demo from the Nintendo Switch 2 Preview Event 5 months prior?

Nintendo was present at Gamescom 2025 which is Marketing ;)

And please note that I wrote that it could also be another 1st Party Video Game by Nintendo which will maybe according to my personal guess be released on 25. September 2025 ;)

Lot of holes in this logic, buuuut then again anything is possible. I think it's either late October/early Nov or it's their early Dec game. Dec wouldn't surprise me at all at this point. I think something Mario 40th makes a lot more sense as a surprise September release (just like September 2020).

When was the last time Nintendo sent out a game to die like Titan Fall ? Not going to happen without a major push, a lot of pressure to deliver with this one.
