The literal same argument could be made for Bethesda games. We've been over this argument forever. They literally gave sony a guarantee for 10 years they wouldn't. Sony could have said yes- taken it and renegotiate it as they and everyone else does year or year(s) after year.
Microsoft like Sony is there to make money. They aint gonna keep out a min 800 million of the table year over year. Aint no way 2Million GP users year over year gonna help that- at least maybe not for 10 years.
What they will do is say after 10 years or whenever before Sony decides to renegotiate- is say either pay up or you dont have it. Exactly the way it is now when Sony or MS timegate a game or negotiate a game to release on the console.
Commercial property and Employment can be ok.My wife works for one and it sounds pretty miserable. All they do is real estate. I bet the spicy stuff like criminal defense and divorce is a nightmare.
Sony could just as easily go to Behesda and say Heres 200million, make a game for us- The difference being MS gets to say No, or pay more. - Just like they are having to do with other publishers like SE.The literal same argument could be made for Bethesda games. We've been over this argument forever.
It's been like 4 years and you guys are still crying about this. People here love calling Xbox fans a cult then unironically lose their minds that other people get to play Sony games 2 years later.
Today was a glorious day.
Nexusmods already has a page up ready to go for modders!elder scrolls 16? what year is this 5002?
If it was that simple, why no one could just show where the result comes from.No they had a survey of COD players and asked them if they would switch consoles. 20% said they would.
Optimism is a powerful drug I'm addicted too.Careful bud. MS got exposed on a lot of shit through this. The FTC has dogshit lawyers who apparently don't know how to properly weave a narrative. No matter what the judge decides, there's still fallout from these revelations to deal with and they still have to contend with the CMA.
SIXTEEN TIMES THE DETAILSElder Scrolls SIXTEEEENN
They really should move on to subscription and cloud, the FTC is just not going to win on the console forefront.
I think they have a much better chance w/ the other 2. We could see things really turn around for them on that front.

What is frustrating is that the best jurisdictions for a vanilla competition claim are Europe and the UK. But both regulators have waived the underlying competition point and focussed on the cloud. This feels like a mistake. They really should move on to subscription and cloud, the FTC is just not going to win on the console forefront.

Ahh sorry, I see what you mean I should have empathised "everybody".I mean unless you were being facetious (which is hard to tell purely with text)... I'm not quite sure you made the point you think you did

Seems like they hired The Red Karen, Reforge, MBG & Jaydub as their counsel LOLIt's like the FTC got their law degrees from a 3 am Devry info commercial
That's that hard shit. It's reality, which is a downer but it's what I'm on.
Because the lawyers were clueless and didn't know for certain but there are surveys done for this case out there with that percentage. If it was that simple, why no one could just show where the result comes from.
Professor Lee failed to do so, now this other twat is spinning around with no ideia as well.
I don't even know whats happening anymore, don't these people do research to make a proper decision? how do you build a case not knowing anything about the industry lolWhat the actual fuck is this lawyer talking about?
"The best Christmas character to play on Christmas"
You guys really should try cocaine. It's reality, which is a downer but it's what I'm on.
yeah i cant believe he went with thatLMAO, people are going to switch to xbox because their version has Santa Claus. Where did FTC get this lawyer? Wish.com?
Well I'm sure Sony missing their PC revenue targets by $50 million even with Bungie revenue accounted for, might give them some cause for concern.
Same with if there is any easy correlation between PC porting of marquee games and console releases seeing softer-than-expected sales due to the PC port windows being too close to each other. And in some cases, two years might be too close.
There's also the concept of adding value perception to the software and that can be best achieved by keeping the software within an ecosystem you have the most vertical control & integration with. For Sony that is PlayStation consoles. For Nintendo that is their systems and they're even better (more stubborn) at doing this than Sony are.
You only forgot to mention the small difference of 10X in valuation between ABK and Bethesda..The literal same argument could be made for Bethesda games. We've been over this argument forever.

Can't believe they get paid so much
