they think so and it's clear, we have statements from the CEO of t2, ryan's statements and the facts that confirm it. even sega which is very close to microsoft at the moment does not bring its most popular titles to d1 on the pass, metaphor which will be the flagship title of sega and atlus in 2024 does not arrive on the service unlike the re-editions of persona or the spinoffs.

I've noticed that indie publishers are more open to the idea of day-one GP releases. But, yeah, I don't think there is ANY big AAA publisher that has been on board with the day-one GP strategy.

For sure it's going to be great for some devs. Many indies probably make more with gamepass than selling their games. However when your talking about massive budgets then you need full priced sales. Many times ganepass won't cover that for devs.

Ganepass is great to have but it can never replace the traditional sales model.
