The premise sounds really cool ngl; if they could do something even remotely close to BLAME! (even if without the license) I'll be there Day 1. That type of atmosphere, setting, story in a Souls-like framework would be extremely awesome.

I stand corrected. 12 years ago. That's still quite a while ago. Japanese developers are very unlikely to create an exclusive title for a platform that doesn't sell in Japan. Even less likely anymore to do so for a platform that isn't expected to even be close to the market leader this generation and after the performance of the previous one. Add onto that the capital alliance between Sony and Kadokawa and Sony's stock purchase of the company... it's easy to see why people have serious doubts.

Looking back I think it's 9 between OG Xbox and 360. Last game was almost a decade ago. Some people just choose to be ignorant but for many others it has more to do with whether or not it has happened any time recently and it hasn't. It's not that it can't.
