He also owes someone here money. He has yet to respond to that fact in ANY capacity.

At this point I'm pretty convinced that they're at least seriously considering it. Whether or not it makes it to the final console is another matter. Maybe they'll make restrictions lighter or something. In any case, someone is pushing for some kind of always online retriction.I'd say it's more likely than not now, why else would he be so defending of it.
I would however laugh if all along MS are the ones who have been leaking all this and it turns out they're not going with always online ect.
I went to bed and page 40 something, and wake up to this. Whoa boy! This is spreading like a wildfire.
I can't help but think that this is Microsoft building there customers up for bad news just to surprise them with an offline working console and have hugely positive press. No one can really be as stupid as that guy... can they?
It's funny that there are still people who are thinking it's "impossible" that Microsoft would do this.
Why does he owe someone money?
I really don't think that this outcry is enough to change MSs plans. A- Its pretty much only a big deal in the enthusiast sphere and B- the same sphere would be upset once it were to be announced and MS has to know this.At this point I'm pretty convinced that they're at least seriously considering it. Outside of the internet? No one is losing sleep. Lol
lol what about Asia ? Or places without internet?
They seriously cannot be this dumb right? Move to where there is better internet? Are you kidding me?
I really don't think it is. I don't think a wider/casual audience will be this up in armsThis could be a life or death situation similar to them deciding whether to listen to Epic to bump up the RAM from 256MB to 512MB for the 360. All eyes are on MS now.
I promise I'm leaving this time because good ol' conscience is starting to play them strings.
The issue really isn't even about him or theexploitable meme. It's still bothersome that this could be the direction these systems are going.amusing
Ultimately, it's just a video game console and life goes on. However, it'd be nothing short of disappointing to learn that something you enjoyed - alone or with friends, in times of bliss or in times of despair - may be changing in a way you cannot follow.
I'll just leave it at that, because I know in a few weeks I'm the one who's going to be feeling like a jerk.

Watch MS restrict each new Xbox to only allow 1 active Live account.
That's the only way I can see them selling any decent amount of systems.
I feel like now I'm apologizing for MS- I'm not, it sucks, etc. I just have to say that the majority of the purchasing audience has no idea that there is a new MS system coming, nor do they know or prob care about any of these rumorsWatch MS restrict each new Xbox to only allow 1 active Live account.

PS3: "Get a second job."
Durango: "Get a second home."

beje said:just wondered... what about the fratboys and their shoddy campus internet that needs authentication and usually doesn´t like stuff other than PCs? No one thought about them? How are they supposed to play Halo and Madden now?
Whatever always online is true or false,i would say this guy basically ruining,or even already ruined MS's announce plan

If it is true, half of you saying 'it's the end of xbox for me' will cave in time. Being all drama queen for the sake of it.
