Probably because MS added hardware support for 8-bit and 4-bit integer into the XSX SoC for Machine Learning.
Is this RDNA2 standard or MS exclusive?

And who can forget the PS4 Pro reveal.Sony 'actively pushing' for 60FPS/1080p with PS4 - VideoGamer.com

"If your game is going to push the heck out of the PS4, you might have to do some little tweaks [for the Xbox One version]. But if you design your game to work on Xbox One at 60fps, it's going to work on PS4 at 60."

Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 already does native 4K without checker boarding. They needed to take 20 printscreen to realize that it was not native 4K. Sony has already delivered while MS does API marketing.
Dynamic resolution on both Xbox One and Xbox One X.Forza Horizon 4 and Gears 5 already does native 4K without checker boarding.
They literally released the Uncharted 4 reveal trailer at 60 fps. Lets not forget thisDid you understand the context? something like "Sony wants 1080p 60fps IN MY GAME"

"We might see slightly smoother framerates on PS4," he said. "We're working with Sony right now, and they're trying to actively push 60 frames per second, 1080p. You might get situations where the graphics will be a little, but not much, lower quality on the Xbox One. Or, you might get some...www.neogaf.com

Also, API marketng ? Microsoft only did that GDC panel on DirectML. Machine Learning is not a buzzword, NVIDIA already does that. But I guess you only listen to Cernny's sermons.

It's something MS added to the GPU.Is this RDNA2 standard or MS exclusive?
LOL it does not drop to 1080p. You also forgot that it runs at 60 fps. Most of the time it is still native 4K.LOL Gears5?
Gears 5 is not 4k, it has dynamic resolution with drops to 1080p
As expected, X targets a native 4K at the upper bounds, while the base unit tops out at 1080p. That said, actual native rendering resolution is adjusting regularly during gameplay, producing results on X such as 1584p, 1728p, 2160p and the like. Xbox One S renders at quarter resolution by comparison - including values such as 792p and 864p up to full 1080p. The gap between S and X seems par for the course then, until you realise that the enhanced machine is essentially delivering twice the frame-rate.
It's something MS added to the GPU.
Not standard RDNA2.

and for BC games
Yes in RTX it does.Ah yes because that's how it works.
"We knew that many inference algorithms need only 8-bit and 4-bit integer positions for weights and the math operations involving those weights comprise the bulk of the performance overhead for those algorithms," says Andrew Goossen. "So we added special hardware support for this specific scenario. The result is that Series X offers 49 TOPS for 8-bit integer operations and 97 TOPS for 4-bit integer operations. Note that the weights are integers, so those are TOPS and not TFLOPs. The net result is that Series X offers unparalleled intelligence for machine learning."and did MS say that?
Because you know how it is, if she didn’t say it’s exclusive, it’s because it’s not.

Xbox One X uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080 and the highest native resolution found being approximately 3200x1800. A form of temporal reconstruction is used that can increase the pixel count to 3840x2160 and pixel counts at 3840x2160 are common due to this temporal reconstruction. The native resolution is higher for the 30fps real time cutscenes on Xbox One X with the lowest and highest native resolutions found during them being approximately 2773x1560 and 3840x2160 respectively.
Xbox One X in the Versus mode uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest native resolution found being approximately 2560x1440 and the highest native resolution found being 3840x2160. A form of temporal reconstruction is used that can increase the pixel count to 3840x2160 when the native resolution is below this figure. A native resolution of 3840x2160 seems to be rare here but pixel counts at 3840x2160 are common due to the temporal reconstruction.
Xbox One X in the Boot Camp mode uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest native resolution found being 1920x1080 and the highest native resolution found being approximately 3200x1800. A form of temporal reconstruction is used that can increase the pixel count to 3840x2160. Yes in RTX it does.
There is no 'native resolution' when a dynamic scaler is in place. The term 'native' are for fixed resolution, not variable. RDR2 is native 4K on Xbox One X, Gears 5 not.LOL it does not drop to 1080p. You also forgot that it runs at 60 fps. Most of the time it is still native 4K.

How the fuck is that a reply to my post about RTX ?
You literally replied to my post about RTX that has nothing to do with it.For you to change the subject and say that, instead of admitting that you are wrong and that Gears 5 is "hurr durr 4k fake"
Where ever they added it, it needed to be added. In other words, it isn't an RDNA2 feature, otherwise they wouldn't have needed to add it anywhere. And did they add in RDNA 2 architecture or just in xbox?
Why isn't it clear, add where? only on xbox or the whole RDNA2?
Wtf Cyberpanda is perma-banned?
Well, only if you read them and do not throw context out of the window to make the two sentences fit better for the lulz .Unrelated? Lol.
He says the pro can double performance to 8.4 tf and has said 8 tf is all that's needed for 4k. Go back to google or follow someone else around.
You mean the "Power of SSD"
Lol..this dude went out to get a posterAs great as this sounds, PS5 sounds really great, even with the game changers Microsoft has, I loved PS5 from the start, they want to be their own console, right from the start SONY made it clear that it's going to keep delivering AAA games.
Well, only if you read them and do not throw context out of the window to make the two sentences fit better for the lulz .
He said, in one instance, that the “Rapid Packed Math feature can run FP16 code at 2x the rate“ which would mean 8.4 TFLOPS if you were running a shader with only FP16 operations. What is wrong with this sentence?
In another sentence, he said that he thought that you would need at least 8 TFLOPS (of full floats FP32 / GCN performance) to allow all current PS4 games to be easily rendered at 4K without compromises. What is wrong with this sentence?
You just take both and smash them together disregarding any context for the lulz as it almost seems to support your console warring narrative.
Long night on google lol. Only warriors console warring are you guys. Calling a spade a spade, not my fault you're emotionally invested in a plastic box.
I get a kick out of ...
Google? No, this kind of BS argument is thrown around frequently enough that I can remember the Gamasutra and other interviews about the Pro off of memory now .
So, you threw that at the wall, it did not stick, then tried to dodge replies asking you to actually reason about what you said (as if...), you dodged some more, doubled down, things were reasoned and pointed out in more detail to you again, you tripled down, and now are going for the “calling a spade a spade, I am the rational non fanboy in a clown world” card. I do not think I am missing much of the routine.
Still, this is possibly the driver... not caring about being right or wrong, just doing it as “it pisses off the likes of you”, to try to piss people off...
You throw a console warrish statement out, hopefully watch some mess unfold while you laugh it off, come back, ignore the answers you get, and stir the nest some more with a “just banter yeah, just banter mate... why so upset” escape card ready.
Look, you just admitted it “You have a console warrish statement, it is a fact”. This blatant “cheap taking words out of their context and putting them together to fit a predetermined narrative” I have done here is not dissimilar to what you did with Cerny‘s statements. All those words were used by you, it is a fact, what causes the problem here? Missing context..You reach so hard yet have nothing lol. Console warrish statement? Naw its a fact, Cerny said all that.
I replied to a fellow Sony warrior of yours shitposting but nice try.
Don't jump into conversations that don't concern you. Much less when you're so clueless about it you have to spend hours on google for every reply . This exchange has done nothing but waste time. Run along now.
