I had an Orc in World of Warcraft named Ghasm before it was cool. Also, did anyone make a "Lore of the Rings" joke at any point yet?
Anyway, watching this stream and this Quebecois guy is both bad and homophobic. Great combo. The way the orcs all play off each other is really cool, though. This whole nemesis system thing might prove really interesting.

How would he know the precise resolution? It upscales to 1080p so its not like he'd be getting a 780p signal on his TV.

Honestly, if a game is 1080p / 60fps on PS4, it should AT LEAST be 1080p / 30 fps on Xbone. Hell, I wouldn't mine 900p / 60 fps. Obviously the PS4 is stronger than the Xbox, but the Xbox isn't THAT much weaker... Realistically, the PS4 is what ... about 10-15 fps better on average? I can understand lowering the res if the PS4 version was 30 fps, but to lower it to 780p?
The devs can EASILY make the game 1080 / 30, and why they're being so tight-lipped about this just frustrates me.

You're just starting to question pixel counting now, after hundreds of non-standard resolutions have been reported over the years?
I've heard that it has no AA or at least not very good AA. That makes it really easy to count, if true. But good IQ is not a barrier to figuring this stuff out.

It wasn't a person on GameFAQs. It a Twitch streamer. Not that it would be difficult for anyone to do from the tutorials I've seen. And the god of pixel counting was a forum poster on Beyond3D.

I remember being especially excited for Two Towers. I wasn't into Tolkien at the time but my friends were and that movie was just incredible. I just watched all of them last week and may just marathon all day tomorrow so at midnight I'll be all lubed up.

If the twitch stream is anything to go by, it should be at or near 1080p. Maybe not
60fps-ish like the PS4 version, but at least 1080p.
Rumors of 720p/30fps are absurd given that this game is cross-gen.
I would guess it'll be 900p/60fps. If PS4 can do 60fps, so can XB1.

I wish this game had a demo.
It all started with the forging of the great titles. Three for the Elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven for the Dwarf Lords; great miners and craftsman of the mountain halls. And nine titles were passed to the race of men, who above all else desire power.
I just don't understand why the devs don't just straight up answer the question.
Kojima created a fricken website to showcase the differences...He wasn't going to let people create rumors about his game.

I just digitally pre ordered on xbox one. This game looks fantastic. 2am can't come fast enough! The best part is that I have Tuesday off! I'm gonna dig into this hardcore!

Hmmph... well when it was Tomb Raider DE and it was 1080p 60fps on PS4 and 1080p 30fps on XB1 I still managed to enjoy the XB1 version. I clearly got an inferior graphical experience though.

I'll admit I'm kind of miffed that when all is said and done, Microsoft will have sent engineers to help with two games that I will never care about (Diablo 3 and Destiny)... and will have sent no one to help with what is looking to be like this gen's version of "Arkham Asylum".

some googling told me that australias ha an october release and japan even later.

That's ignoring compute. PS4 is already seeing up to 15% gains from that, and that's just the games we've heard from devs about. But it's not twice as powerful, let alone four times.

No point at still being annoyed anymore. Not trying to console warrior but most people called out there would be differences this big when the specs were announced. The only reason why people thought it wouldn't be this bad is that we thought developers wouldn't care due to multiplat (i.e. what has happened in the past) but it looks like people like Monolith aren't going to allow inferior hardware to hold back the big guns. You'll still get a good game, but people who paid for the Xbone will just get what was on the box - inferior hardware.

I'm not sure if my maths is any good but I think it's more like Wednesday at about 3am... I really hope they screw up and it just unlocks as soon as our clocks hit sep30
