Minecraft Steve revealed for Smash Bros Ultimate

They still haven't managed to sell the second fighter pass to me. Let's see if that changes tomorrow. If it's another weeb character, then probably not.

I'll say Ryu Hayabusa. Koei Tecmo has a strong relationship with Nintendo this year, it's a classic character that originated on the NES, and it's not an assist trophy or spirit. Possible problems are that there's already ninja-like characters and it might be too violent or irrelevant.

I'd love waluigi as he is never in the spotlight (assist trophy just isn't the same), but I also understand the character itself is supposed to be kind of an unknown and a loser. Still I say, bring on the purple prince of pandemonium!

Man, I hope it's a character from an old game or established franchise, not something new like overwatch.
 
Mind Blown: Master Chief, Sora, Crash, Spyro, OG Paper Mario, Saki

Acceptably Cool: Dante, Ryu, Heihachi, Waluigi

Boring: Weeb/Weebette

I'm actually hyped for the Minecraft stuff. Looks awesome. Looks like a lot of fun stuff can be done

That was the most disappointing addition so far. Minecraft is fine, I've had fun playing the game a few times and there is no denying how huge it is but Steve is a rather boring character/fighter.

Character looks really cool, and it's another transforming character. Finally interested after the last couple meh additions.
 
He's one of those meme characters I didn't think would make it in. Looks interesting at least. I wonder how the general audience feels about this.
