Is it really two days later on the 16th like Futureshop says?
This would upset me a great deal. Anybody in retail know for sure?

exactly, you don't know what some people in Canada might do if they don't get their Mario Kart on time.SS4Gogita said:I don't know, as I don't live in Canada. But why would 2 days upset you?

Date of Lies said:the only thing I see is that futureshop says it's 49.99$ on november 16th while amazon.ca is saying 34.99$ on november 21st

Yes they're Canadian prices and I'll be trying to price match Amazon.ca's price at Best Buy. It not, I'll order it online.AndoCalrissian said:Are those figures in US dollars or Canadian? Because if they're Canadian, wouldn't that be one hell of a deal on Amazon?
That's true when you talk to a smart person. I had a moron price match Castlevania DoS at $29 CAD at Best Buy on Saturday because she gave me the "New from" price instead of Amazon.ca's price (which was $39.99 CAD).Date of Lies said:which is not a big deal if you've got other things to play. amazon.ca's been very good to me. Me and a friend ordered our mariokart DS copies together in order to get free shipping, try doing that.
I've tried price matching at best buy by showing amazon.ca, they said they'll price match and add the cost of shipping (around 5$, so it would have been 40$ and not 35$), so I was like "well fuck you too"
I print out the page. My brother has been a little unethical sometimes and photoshopped the page before printing. :lolBorkBork said:Question: When you guys went to pricematch, did you have to print out a page from the Amazon website and show it to them, or do they check it on their computer there?
I read and understood the domain, thanks for making an assumption. That means the game only costs ~$29.50 (USD) in Canada? Good deal if you ask me.Date of Lies said:amazon.CA

Mario Kart DS will be $35 US.Date of Lies said:.CA
yes, but aren't new released ds games already $30 USD in the states?
Fuzzy said:I was looking through the Child's Play Amazon.ca page for Toronto's Sick Kids' Hospital when I noticed Mario Kart DS is no longer listed for $35 CAD, it's up to $50 CAD. Looks like I'm not picking it up any time soon.

Fuzzy said:After seeing the $35 CAD price it'll be difficult for me to pay anything over $40 CAD.
And I refused to pay that much for any of them. I got AW: DS for $40 CAD, Kirby for $11.50 CAD (price matched against TRU), and if I wanted Metroid Prime Pinball I'd get it this week at TRU for $35 CAD. I refuse to pay more than $40 CAD for any GBA/DS game.Spike said:I know, but Advance Wars, Kirby, Metroid Prime Pinball have all released at $49.99 up here. So I was expecting it.
But, just think that amount of replay value you'll get outta this one. Online mode is well worth it, IMO.

Thank you very much.Spike said:Then you're in luck.
Future Shop has Mario Kart for $39.99 one-day only sale on November 17th.

My sister won't wait that long for her DS.Fuzzy said:Nintendo has always had the Mario Kart bundle listed for the 28th.

I called the local Best Buys and Future Shops and they didn't have them in so I don't mind paying $1.50 CAD more to play it today. Sadly, I don't have wifi yet so I'll have to wait to play online.koam said:$33.50 futursehop price match, here i come.
koam said:I didn't find the game anywhere. [spoilers]Probably because I didn't bother actually going anywhere to look for it[/spoilers]. Anyone in Quebec find this yet? I did call a few places but no one had it though Futureshop's site did claim that the one downtown montreal had a copy.
civilstrife said:ONE copy?
My school is right next door. Somebody's going to school early tomorrow.
koam said:No not one copy, my bad, the game was listed "in stock".
