It's basically 3/23. A guy with a career .673 OPS.

Don't get me wrong - I think its a good deal for the Brewers but I get why he did it. Those defensive numbers might be worth that but they don't actually get paid that way - the deal Bourn ended up settling on probably convinced them that extending now wasn't a bad idea.

He's also only 27 so it makes sense that if he can hit he'd be growing into it now.

Either way unless he gets fat and slow its a no brainier deal.
