I think that Analog pitching is really great. I felt like I knew exactly why pitches missed, and when I struck a guy out, it felt like I knew why too. Plus, the timing element that I never quite felt with the regular meter pitching wasn't there... And I felt like I knew why I elevated a ball or threw it in the dirt.
I crushed Derek Lowe in my first game... 10 - 0, 18 hits. Gonna have to turn up the difficulty of the opponent batting. I got into a bad spot early in the game but then recouped and shut Cleveland down with the Red Sox.
Presentation stuff is really, really strong.
"A reminder, an extra green line train is available at the Kenmore stop, or also available at the Fenway stop..." and then the announcer went into something about rt 1. I mean, that's really good... because.. .it's true. After Sox games, they run extra trains on the green line from Kenmore and Fenway all night.
The presentation is just so silky smooth, announcing, stadium announcing, angles, etc. Really incredible stuff. This is what videogame presentation should be.
Ended up getting both for a total of 29 bucks.
Best buy and their 40% trade in bonus paid for the PS3 version.. sadly no BB stores near me even have a sniff of the Vita version. But my email today came packed with a 10 dollar off coupon for the Vita version at Gamestop.
I was seriously going to wait on this years game until I heard about the sharing of saves.. I can not wait to try this. Sadly ME3 also came out today. CRUEL WORLD!
Super dumb question.
I printed off this cover:

But it is massive. Anyone know what the actual size of the from cover is on a ps3 game?

Sloppy but it gets the job done. Looks bad ass in person. A nice printer with some glossy paper does wonders to make a shitty game awesome!

Russell over at Operation Sports is looking into the Online Pass issues some people are having:
http://www.operationsports.com/forums/mlb-show/540314-update-regarding-online-pass-redemption-ps3-vita.html
Shit, if I knew this was something other than the online passes simply not going up over the weekend I would have contacted him on Friday.
I'm considering just holding off on redeeming my Vita code until this is sorted out. :/
I wish I had captured or streamed my first game. Braves vs. Mets opening day. Braves had a 3-2 lead in the 9th, but David Wright immediately smashed one off Kimbrel to tie it. They loaded the bases on Kimbrel with just one out.
Ruben Tejada up with the bases loaded and one out. What happens? The CPU fucking suicide squeezes on me to win it.
I'm holding off on playing Franchise until Knights OS Minor League roster is done. Usually just as the season is starting.

BOTTOM 9
-- PITCHER CHANGE: Craig Kimbrel replaces Jonny Venters.
-- David Wright homers. 0 OUT (ATL 3, NYM 3)
-- Ike Davis doubles on a fly ball to right field. 0 OUT.
-- Jason Bay intentionally walked. 0 OUT.
-- Lucas Duda strikes out swinging. 1 OUT.
-- Josh Thole singles on a fly ball to shallow center field. Ike Davis to third. Jason Bay to second. 1 OUT.
-- Ruben Tejada safe at first on fielder's choice. Ike Davis scores. 1 OUT (ATL 3, NYM 4)
ugh, time to figure out which one of the Cards minor league pitchers represents Shelby Miller. I may just have to move to a new team for franchise. The Cards roster just looks depressing.
Well hey, look at that stud. Well done, eznark.
I have man love for Braun. And Hosmer. Unrelated.
^ Yea next years will be a full Vita title, not a PSP 1.5 type. How is RTTS? Ive never played it before...
Is it like the NHL be a pro where you take a minor leaguer and get him all the way to the bigs?
Sadly, RTTS is still messed up with the stupid coach benching you for "stealing" when you're not. Idiot manager has benched me and has threatened to bench me again for stealing and I have 0 steal attempts... It's been this way for 3 years.
I have never had that happen to me ever.

what scale did you use?
Gonna print out a David Wright cover for a friend of mine.
