Domonic Brown needs to cut down on his swing. It reminds me of Werth's swing before he dropped his hands. Hopefully he hits enough balls to the other field to discourage the shift, because it looked like teams had already figured him out through only 50 ABs.

I've made two Ron Roenicke posts and have gotten no response.

If Melvin had hired Bobby Valentine you guys wouldn't be treating me this way!

Sorry dude you should have gotten a sexier manager.

Holy shit. The line for a bart ticket to sf is epic. This will take a few hours.

My friend said it's fucking crazy right now. He left Fresno at midnight when he got to the parade area people were already partying. He was drunk at seven in the morning.

When is dog leaving that shitshow and coming back to his real show

Seriously.

He already got his Sirius money...now stop fucking around and get back on the FAN. Mike is even more ridiculous without you :(

We just cut in line for tickets lol. Saved literally an hour or two of waiting. Sf almost.

Predictable start to the offseason: Elijah Dukes is in jail. Didn't pay child support.
Yup, saw that yesterday. Sad, but he was given plenty of opportunities by the management to get his shit together.

Who is Adam Dunn going to sign with?

I'm so bummed Strasburg got hurt, he probably would've helped with free agency. Going to the ballpark sucks when you have shitty pitching, and I don't believe for a second Lee is going to consider the Nationals.

I'd love to see the Brewers sign him. Would make up for losing Fielder and would allow Gamel to get used to the new position at AAA.

so apparently the jays will be going after manny ramirez, johnathan papelbon, jason varitek, curt schilling and anybody else that ever shook hands with the new manager

Hey. I have been bedridden with 103 degree fever past few days.

First of all congratulations to the Giants for their WS victory. You guys were obviously the better team this year. :D

That being said, I am very proud of how my Rangers did this season. I think we will be very strong contenders next year once again.

Your 2011 World Series odds are here!

Yankees 4/1
Phillies 6/1
Red Sox 10/1
Giants 10/1
Cardinals 14/1
Rays 14/1
Twins 16/1
Rangers 16/1
Braves 18/1
Rockies 18/1
Reds 20/1
Padres 20/1
White Sox 22/1
Dodgers 22/1
Angels 25/1
Cubs 30/1
Tigers 35/1
Marlins 35/1

Royals 125/1
Pirates 150/1

Haha suck my dickkkkkkk eznark. 50/1. And Mets should be way lower. Jesus will heal his son's elbow and Strasburg will lead the Natinals to the pennant before the Mets win the WS next year.

Someone give me good baseball Twitter accounts. You can include yourself if you're GRTpTWT > 0.7

Paps and Manram would probably be good for the Jays, actually.

Also, the Rangers will go right back to sucking soon, especially if they lose Cliff Lee. Serves them right for playing their World Series in the ALCS. These teams have gotta be passionate about beating everyone, not just the evil big bad Yankees :lol

Yankees odds are too small...they've got way too much shit to deal with right now. They're not even a lock to win their division!

Does anyone know what the odds for a 2010 pennant were?
The only numbers I have are: Giants 20:1. Rangers 24:1. Yankees (3:1). Phillies (6:1). Red Sox (6:1). That was back in April.

Also, Giants parade livestream up on MLB.com.

I've heard some stupid rumors about the Tigers being interested in both Fielder and Dunn. Detroit already has their DH spot tied up and Cabrera ain't going anywhere. Which almost makes me think they'll do something stupid like that.

Tigers have about 60m coming off the books and I'm hoping they'll make a surprising acquisition (knowing they'll have to overpay to do so). If we don't re-sign Maggs,I'd love for them to go after Werth. If they do, they should go after Crawford - him and Jackson in the OF and at the top of the order would be pretty exciting.

We'll probably end up doing something dumb instead. Like offer Jim Edmonds money as if he was still 25 years old, or throwing too much money at the bullpen even though our offense and back half of the rotation won't set up many situations where a bullpen is needed other than to eat up innings.

It sounds like the Cubs and/or White Sox are interested. It would suck if he went to the Cubs because then we wouldn't even get a first-round draft pick out of it.

Also: how the fuck do the Orioles have better odds to win the WS next year than the Nationals. They're in the AL East ffs.

Thanks for this. The only hd feed I have right now is kron4 and Gary Radnich is fucking insufferable as usual.

Cool shit. I remember Logan Morrison said he'd use the 06010 theme song as his walkup music if he got to 10k, so I'm doing my part.

Clifton Phifer Lee bought cowboy boots. Bottle your bitter tears and send them to Cashman, Yankee fans.

Errr, that's Neogaf poster cashman.

Adrian Beltre has declined his $10 million 2011 player option with the Red Sox. He is now a free agent.

Aramis Ramirez has exercised his $14.6 million 2011 player option with the Cubs.

Both shockers.

Mets exercise their $11 million option on Jose Reyes, as expected.

Decision on whether they'll retain Hisanori Takahashi comes tomorrow, as that's his deadline. Rumor is Mets offer a 1-year incentive laden deal, he wanted 2 before.

MetsBlog said:
According to Fernando Ribas Reyes of El Nuevo Dia, Carlos Beltran has been invited to meet with GM Sandy Alderson.

However, Beltran didn’t indicate whether or not he would accept the invite, telling Reyes:

“It doesn’t matter what I think. The organization is going to do what they think is best for them. The way I can control it is to have a good year. If I do, I know there will be teams interested in me. For my part, I’d like to play in New York a few years more.”

The only way I see Alderson trading Beltran is if its in a deal to help free up money. In the end, though, like I have said before, I think Beltran’s future in New York has more to do with whether he wants to be here, more than if the Mets want to trade him.
Don't make a mistake, Alderson. Keep Beltran.
