Because Sanchez and Davis are 100% proven bums, and Lambo was tearing up AAA before the surgery, and has been tearing it up since coming back from it. At least with him, we're not 100% sure what we're going to get. He could very well be shit, but he could also be an upgrade from Sanchez and Davis who we already know to be guaranteed outs within the lineup.
