I will say this again: What makes this any different from the jerseys they wore in the 90's and early 2000's, which was just as gaudy, yet are beloved for the most part?

I would much rather have teams take risks in regards to jersey design and especially color, ala' the Marlins and D-Backs, then do the same old neo-classical or 'homages from the past' bullshit that are perpetuated throughout baseball nowadays.

I don't like that sentiment at all, as it's almost always an excuse to throw up some trash for the sake of being "new". Does "risk" really matter when the jerseys are godawful?

I dunno, the jersey on the far right is nowhere near as gaudy as the ones next to it. It looks like they had no idea of what they wanted to do with their color scheme(s), so they shit out about eight or nine to cover their bases. Like, the teal + dark grey ones fucking suck.
