MLB 2016 Regular Season Official Thread - Do Not Attempt to Ketchup

Roundup of news from Father's Day:

FS San Diego roasts James Shields

James Shields Is Not Having The Worst Three-Start Stretch In White Sox History

To find that we have to go back to 1995 and Jason Bere.

Jason Bere, who had been magnificent in the previous two seasons, going 24-7 with a 3.64 ERA, was a big part of the problem. He was supposed to be the guy who helped offset the loss of Jack McDowell.

Instead he made 27 starts and went 8-15 with a 7.19 ERA.

His entire season was horrible, but for three starts from July 30 to August 20 it was even worse. Worse than what James Shields has done.

Pads stay winning.

30 games before Jays play another AL East team. This should be the part of the schedule where they have significant improvement in the standings. Beat the weak.

heh 23-10 to now 10-26 since then :p

if the white sox keep playing this way they will end the season with 59 wins.

by the end of the season the braves could easily have a better record than the white sox :p\

Wth are the White Sox doing?

john danks held the team together. releasing him ruined the team :p

more so Ventura is garbage and doesn't know how to manage a team.
I've never heard a single player call him a good manager, they always call him a good guy.

Mariners are pathetic . Would have preferred if they just sucked like this all season instead of doing ok to start.

nah, mariners are doing poorly but are okay.
if you want pathetic look towards the worst team in baseball for the last oh 45 games.
the chicago white sox.

and by worst I mean worst.
braves, reds, twins ect all have better records over that time.
