Yeah that was a decade ago.

And for all we know, he's spent most of that time either playing football, preparing to get back into football, or talking on TV about football.

He's 29 now, who knows where his baseball fundamentals and technique are

yeah i doubt he is any good. Will probably get a job with an Independent League Team.

Wait, he didn't even get drafted?!

There are tons of guys that have essentially been in his position and tried to do something similar, but they were at least drafted when they were in high school. Everyone gets selected in the MLB draft.

He last played as a junior in high school, focused on football after.

Do have to wonder if Timmuh has any life on a 4-seamer?

I'd doubt he would have much control, but just being able to throw hard would be better than some of the pitchers that the Red Sox have on their payroll right now.
