He hasn't been "shitty" but he's not exactly the stud phenom everyone is making him out to be either. Urias, Fernandez, and Hernandez were destroying the low minors at his age.

Right. It's not a bad trade. He's at least 3 years away and Pomeranz is good now. I think it works out for both teams.

agreed. despite how things look right now, the team is actually in a very good spot. They can trade their veterans to contending teams for talent, they have a ton of money coming off the books in the next 2 years, and they should be getting a lot more talent from their farm over the next year +.

i should have prefaced my post saying the team would be in a good spot if they had a competent front office.
