Maybe the fact he rushed back after a relatively unconventional surgery? He really hasn't look very good in any of his starts. Expecting him to be vintage Carp is asking for a bit much.

There's going be a lot of Giants baserunners tonight but at least he limited the damage there. Now if only we can hit Vogelsong...

Well, the Cardinals seem to have forgot to bring the offense, like Game 5.They would do this all year long, sometimes score lots of runs, then nothing for a few games. (Not to say that the Giants pitching is bad, the opposite, but they should have been more patient at the plate with Zito)

If nothing else, going to game 7 should keep the winner sharp, while the Tigers will be sitting around for a week like in 2006.
 
lazybones is getting cocky. if giants win it's not guaranteed that tigers will beat them. that means giants are that much better now and will most likely win.
