So just like the Yankees couldn't beat Cliff Lee but the Giants could 2 seasons ago, we're seeing the same with Verlander?

I specifically remember a couple of "unhittable" pitchers during the Giants 2010 World Series run during the postseason. Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay.

Giants smoked them both multiple times.

Verlander is the next to go down against the almighty Giants.

Angel Pagan may have gotten a little lucky but that was a great at bat. Scutaro is playing like he's jesus and panda is dialed in. He can hit them out on the right side as well.

yup, just bad luck for the tigers there, you can hit a ball a 100 times down the line and it wouldn't bounce like that, it was just the perfect bounce for the hitter lol.
If Cabrera weren't a statue he might've been able to do something more on that play.

It's baseball.

Indeed it is, doesn't change the fact it was bad luck for the tigers :p
But because it's baseball it's quite possible some fluke hit will get something going for them later in the game.

It doesn't matter who is playing third if you didn't charge that ball and catch it before the bounce you weren't going to catch it, the ball ended up bouncing the opposite direction from the bag as you would have expected it to, you can't just instantly stop your momentum and change direction, by the time you realized it took a funny hop it was already to late to get it.

Also, have I ranted about home field being decided by the freaking all-star game lately? Because it really is the worst rule in sports and the dumbest thing Selig has inflicted upon the sport.
