Bases loaded for Uggla who already has a 2-hit game. Come on, do it for Full Metal Jacket...

Edit:

He's benched for Brandon Phillips.

It's over anyway!

Here's something to laugh at. Nationals' color analyst saying Phillies fans need to "take back" their own park after Phillies sell only 41,655 tickets the day the sell out streak ended. Washington average more than 16,000 less tickets per season and are at 71% full capacity during a season that they lead the National League. Phillies are at number one and have played like crap all season.

“Their sellout streak ended tonight, apparently. 257 games.”

It’s a great run...

“They’re going to have to take back their own ballpark.”

man... the yankees are completely useless.... hopefully they can stop the tying run and hold on :/
edit: hopefully they keep them from scoring again... I was really hoping the yankees could take 3 of 4 from the tigers... now I am just hoping for the split @_@
it sucks when your team has gone 4-2 and you lost 2 games on your lead because the tigers won't lose lol

Okay.

Let's just win this damn game, win tomorrow afternoon, and get the hell out of Detroit so Robocop can do his job.

Just win this game.

What a fucking moron. Maybe the Nats should worry about getting some fans before they say anything about another teams fans. The last series in DC there was still a ton of Phillies fans even after all the stupid shit they did this year.

He's got a point. Phillies are floundering and had finally stopped selling out. Losing subtracts fans. We finally have a winning season so we're growing in numbers. Winning sells. It's obvious. Phillies have been winning for awhile up until this year and they've had sell out crowds because of it. The Nationals have been complete ass and have had terrible attendance. We're slowly creating a gathering. Times are changing.

16,000 less per season or per game? huge difference

The Phils are #1 in attendance this year even with a last place team most of the year. They dont have to worry at all about their attendance. The y missed a sell out by 4,000 against a team that doesnt draw well at all in Philly. There was no reason at all for a nats announcer to say anything about the Phillies attendance.

Why is the Braves game Gold on ESPN's site?

I'm way out of the loop with 2 months of Bar prep, no internet for a week, and a new job, but it doesn't seem like a highlight worthy game. They aren't going to catch the Nats, no particularly great pitching.

The Nats are going to hand the division to Atlanta when they shut down Strasburg in September.

It was a joke. That's all.

Edit: And Angel Hernandez is a douche. Way to have it out for Bryce Harper.

will gain confidence one day
As with the Astros series, not getting the sweep is disappointing, but I can live with 2/3 against Philly.

I'll never understand these stadiums with the behind the plate camera angle. I don't want to look at frames of nothing but umpire ass
