I think the issue is more that the team is getting too old and injury prone. This is the same thing that started happening in 2001 and really began to show in 2002...

I'm optimistic. Melo and Amare is super motived. We're going to be more defensive minded from the start, and we have depth at PG.
Why would the Knicks be any better this year than last year? I haven't really payed attention to roster changes though.

They should just admit they have a ton of money locked up in players who are like 3 WAR players now in a good year! You can't spend 90MM on like 11 WAR and expect to be good.

see I am torn. On one side I would be happy if the yankees missed the playoffs. On the other side of the teams still in the running I think the White Sox would have the easiest time beating the yankees as the white sox have played really well against the yankees for a while now.
