Alright, fuck it.. Go for the record and let's go to 30 innings!

The record for professional baseball in general is 33 innings
The Pawtucket Red Sox and Rochester Red Wings, two teams from the Triple-A International League, played the longest game in professional baseball history. It lasted for 33 innings over eight hours and 25 minutes of playing time. 32 innings were played April 18/19, 1981 at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and the final 33rd inning was played June 23, 1981. Pawtucket won the game, 3–2.

so if you want to go for a record that would be the one :p

I might just end listening/watching back to back double headers with later on Dodgers/Nats having one..

Bring it Nats

RKO Time!!!

Embarassing for the M's.

2-0 shut out going into the 9th and you lose 4-2.

Fucking trash excuse of a baseball team.

Yankees should have swept this shit team back in 1995 and they wouldn't exist right now.

yeah but if we had swept them then we wouldn't have gotten Tino Martinez and then no 4 world series. but they are trash. I mean, look who they're owned by, a crappy 1 gig console.

You're blessed if you don't know who Hawk Harrelson is. Keep it that way!

Sorry if its already been posted/discussed, but just saw that we're taking over the Buffalo Triple-A affiliate from the Mets, and it might be the best news of this miserable season... it's really about a billion times better than the Las Vegas situation these past few years.

The Toronto Blue Jays have confirmed that they have entered into a new Triple-A player development contact with the Buffalo Bisons of the International League.

“This relationship is a natural fit, both geographically and philosophically,” Blue Jays president and chief executive officer Paul Beeston said in a news release. “The Bisons are committed to winning and the Rich family to providing an environment consistent with the values we are establishing with the Blue Jays.

“Simply put, we are fortunate they have agreed to align with our program and we thank them for the confidence they have shown in us.”

The new agreement ends a four-year relationship that the Blue Jays have had with the Las Vegas 51s of the Pacific Coast League. The 51s have entered into a new agreement with the New York Mets.

The move makes so much sense to the Blue Jays just from a geographical standpoint as Buffalo is only a 90-minute drive from Toronto.

It also marks a return to New York State to house the team’s top minor-league affiliate.

The club had a working agreement with Syracuse of the International League for 31 years that ended in 2008.

“With only 160 kilometres (99 miles) separating the two fields, we will have greater flexibility to make roster decisions and an increased opportunity to watch our most developed prospects,” Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said. “We look forward to providing the Bisons with an exciting and talented roster.”

Now we're stuck with Las Vegas.

Os top prospect Dylan Bundy has been called up to provide a fresh arm after the marathon game. Expected to fill a limited relief role.
