the white sox look pathetic today... if they don't get out of this fast then they need to be passed by the tigers... a team this pathetic looking and making so many stupid mistakes doesn't deserve to go to the playoffs :/

i mean how do you play solid defense for the first 140 games and then start playing like you don't know how to field or run bases when it matters @_@

Plus losing to Ervin Santana. Weak!!!

It's not over yet. It's barely the 5th inning. Santana is due for a blow up.

The way the white sox are playing right now, Steve Stone could go on the mound and the white sox still wouldn't be able to score :/

also at this point we are far enough into the game that if santana looks like he is in trouble the angels will just change pitchers. If we can't hit a guy who keeps hanging stuff and is having troubles hitting the strike zone (though you wouldn't know it as most of our guys are swinging at pitches 3-4 inches out of the zone), I really don't see us hitting a reliever that has anything close to good stuff.

Hopefully they can get their heads out of their asses, but unless something changes soon the tigers are going to catch and then leave the white sox behind, as the way we are playing I would be surprised if we win 5 more games this season. I mean maybe the white sox can right themselves playing a pathetic indians team... but we look like we have given up after we won that last tigers game... like in their heads they already clinched so they don't need to try anymore.

Edit: thinking about it I blame Wise... I haven't felt good about how the team is playing since he made that stupid running mistake... and more stupid mistakes have just kept piling on since then.

Way to strike out on a pitch even remotely close to the zone De aza..... oh wait........

This thread is more of a grave yard than that Shakira thread. We have, by far, the better Romo. 2 to clinch!
Edit: fuck three times in a row. My bad.

The Phillies are 3.0 games back in the WC.

Yeah it has been amazing seeing the turn around once they got their team back. Howard has been so good these last few games also, it has been great seeing him beat up on the Mets and Braves. I really cant wait to see what he will do next year when he has 2 legs. Kendrick just owns the Braves, now 7-1 in his career against them.
