The AL West belongs to the A's. Best story in sports.
Why do the best stories in sports always make me sick to my stomach?

Because the Rangers are choking you to death?
Even though I would have never expected the A's to be in this position, I still think it's the O's.The AL West belongs to the A's. Best story in sports.
He should be used to it after the last 2 World Series!
So if the Orioles and A's win tomorrow and there is only one wild card, would this have been worse than the Red Sox/Braves collapse of last year?

Ugh, nothing makes me more sick than all of these A's and Giants fans coming the fuck out of nowhere when their teams are finally good. I can't wait until these same fans jump ship from the A's to Giants, or Giants to A's depending on which team goes farthest in the playoffs.

lol ok.
I feel like this is aimed at me even though I've been posting here off and on since 2010. You can go back and look through those threads. My posts are in there.
I'm not talking about anyone on this forum, I'm talking about the people around me in San Jose. None of these Giants fans were into baseball until a few seasons ago, and I thought the whole area consisted of nothing but Giants fans until the recent A's success.
I only wish you weren't a new Junior, so we could at least accuse you of Lifelonging. What a cruel fate.
San Jose used to be A's territory, so the dormant fairweather crowd coming out shouldn't be surprising.

I'm hoping they move to San Jose, but I'm biased because it'll be easier for me to go to games.Speaking of San Jose, I wonder how this success will impact whether the A's move or not and if they get out of that shithole of a stadium.

I really want the As and Os to grab the division titles. Something about the underdogs.

If the Dodgers lose this game, Mark Ellis better get a security escort out of the stadium.
I just saw the play and wow, Pagan already threw the ball in before he even touched second. What the FUCK was he thinking.
It would be funny after all this time to see the Rangers vs. Yankees in the Wild Card game.
Yankees or Dodgers (believe)I wonder which team is going to over pay for Josh Hamiliton...
Winning teams always bring out the livelongs. You saw the area with the 49ers doing much better.

Eh, the area has always had a very visible 49ers and Raiders following, but baseball was literally almost non-existent until 2010.
