Well I'm certainly not surprised any more. Just disgusted that certain people are allowed to keep their jobs even when they repeatedly prove their incompetence.

i have been an A's fan my whole life. my favourite player is Walt Weiss.i have a signed dave stewart ball from the 1989 series that he personalzed to me. im a lifer.
I'm not talking about anyone on this forum, I'm talking about the people around me in San Jose. None of these Giants fans were into baseball until a few seasons ago, and I thought the whole area consisted of nothing but Giants fans until the recent A's success.

San Jose used to be A's territory, so the dormant fairweather crowd coming out shouldn't be surprising.

Eh, the area has always had a very visible 49ers and Raiders following, but baseball was literally almost non-existent until 2010.

The Giants were under achieving for so long. Fans had always been there, the team just never came through.
Edit ^ Kemp has struggled the last few games against us.
I think Barry Bonds (and his "lotion") single-handedly kept baseball in San Francisco. Post earthquake and pre-Bonds days were terrible for Giants attendance.
maybe for the giants. Oakland has had a good core for years.
Not happening.
Red Sox or Marlins, maybe even the Cubs, it will be a team that has money but no real future.
