Confirming Saturday's ESPNNewYork.com report, Triple-A manager Wally Backman said in Buffalo that the organization has now resolved to move Jenrry Mejia to a relief role with the International League club in preparation for a call-up to the majors in that capacity.

Mejia made seven minor league starts across three levels in what was viewed as the rehab phase from Tommy John surgery, which was performed on May 16, 2011.

In the Triple-A phase, Mejia had a 1.12 ERA in three starts spanning 16 innings. He allowed five unearned runs in his final start Saturday.

Mejia, 22, worked out of the Mets bullpen in 2010.

Depends on the type of swing a hitter has. If it's nice and level, the the hitter can eat it up. At 94 though, you can get away with it especially if you "surprise" him.
