I was frightened until I clicked the link.
I doubt anyone would pull a pitcher after 2 runs in 2 innings in a regular season game unless it was, like, the deciding game for your playoff chances.

There's no rule against it in the majors. It's just considered poor etiquette to not let the pitcher finish up the batter.
But things have progressed slightly different. 1) Injuries havent derailed us(yet?) 2) the previous season BP never favored this high regardless how above we got past .500(i think 16 was our tops actually which we just reached with easy series forward coming) FAITH TRAIN IS ENTERING GO FAZE

You can in the major league at least so I can't see why you couldn't in others. Definitely happens in playoffs/really important games if pitcher is really struggling.
Yeah, sure. Have fun with all that. I'm just glad the Braves (usually) wait until they've at least gotten into the playoffs before they start choking.

I think I've only seen it a couple of times. It doesn't happen often.
Can't remember off a game on TV, but I saw it at live game. Smoltz got hurt and was replaced in the middle of an at-bat.

Well, obviously you can do it for injured players. I'm talking about pulling a healthy pitcher in the middle of an at-bat just so you can get a specialist for one strike.

Jack McKeon did it in his first game back with the Marlins in 2011. He brought in Steve Cishek and after Cishek ran the count 2-0, McKeon said fuck that and brought in someone else. He also did it to someone else that season too.

College baseball is awful. Would rather watch the KBO than that trash.
