It doesn't seem fair to me that these are so effective yet a natural vitamin rich diet and a spiritual lifestyle generally results in anaemic twigs with zero fast twitch fibres.multivitamins and prayer have strange effects on the body, friend
god and vitamin supplements work in equally mysterious ways
Give me a title, I'll throw something together.Anyone making a thread for the PPV? This event deserves one
Take the money and run.Give me a title, I'll throw something together.
hahahaha
Bas is going into the Hall of Fame, right?
I could see him replacing Joe, as Mr. Rogan can't be trusted not to rock the boat further with his Reebok outbursts and such.
"2.5 hours after weigh ins Cormier claims he weighs 220 lbs"
Noooooooooooooo. I love Bas but he's a horrible announcer. He gets lost in his own thought and will stop talking - mid sentence sometimes, he only talks about how the fight relates to some kind of thing he did or a fight he had, and he constantly talks about liver and stomach kicks like its something he invented. And I'd be really bummed if they lost Anik, Rogan, or Stann.
EDIT: "2.5 hours after weigh ins Cormier claims he weighs 220 lbs"
Those look like the worst pornhub thumbnails ever
Mad Max was next level. Everybody better catch that movie while it's in theaters.
After seeing Mad Max: Fury Road all these superhero movies need to fuck off.
I thought I was getting tired of action movies. It turns out I hadn't been watching action movies.
Thank you George Miller. For a lovely movie.
Watched it tonight. In the theater like

I actually saw it twice on theaters and I'm considering going again.
very importante op updated
Arlovski! Woo hoo, so glad to see him win. It's crazy that I wanted him to retire a few years ago after his third brutal KO loss.

Much like Michael Strahan of Live with Kelly and Michael fame, Cormier is a non-threatening black man who is just urban enough for housewives to still fantasize about.
Rockhold was a teen skater who smoked a lot of weed while his brain was still developing.dont think its official but Rockhold pretty much confirmed hes getting the next shot vs Weidman either in September or December on the post show
he is also mega awkward on the mic. he has a weird stutter and freezes up for seconds at a time while he gathers his thoughts. Im not sure if its always been that bad but it felt worse tonight.
its a shame because if he could talk like DC he would be a breakout star.
Okay, I finally watched the show, and I have some thoughts.
Andrei vs. Hapa featured the worst stoppage I've ever seen in my life. If you bill a match as a heavyweight slugfest, the implicit promise is that we're going to see a brutal KO. I get that the match was probably set up with the idea that we'd see Andrei laid out, possibly becoming the first after taking a scary KO. The fact that Andrei was able to not only avoid getting KO'd, but actually dominate was amazing, and we were all denied the opportunity to see a brutal KO because the ref decided to jump the gun.
Speaking of being the firsts, Cowboy Cerrone managed to avoid being that again, much to my dismay. But I'm okay with that because the fight did something else. As we all know, I think tapping to strikes is the pussiest thing a fighter can ever do. In a time when refs will jump in to save a fighter from being knocked out (see above), tapping to strikes just exposes a fighter as having absolutely no heart, no guts, and no future. Imagine my delight, then, when Fear the Fighter decided that he wanted out, and his only option was not to tap to strikes, but tap after a strike. Even better, because this cowardly thief was still standing, he had to extend his fist in order to create a surface upon which he could tap. He couldn't take a knee and tap the mat. He couldn't fall over and cover up. He just needed out that very second and tapped on himself to signal his cowardice. Amazing.
Wildman vs. Vitor: fighting without steroids is hard.
Finally, I feel bad for Rumble Johnson. I really think this was his time, that he would have just bombed on Bones Jones and finished him inside of two rounds. Unfortunately, he just came up against the one guy who is the perfect style matchup nightmare for him. Which is kind of sad because Rumble Johnson probably should have become the world champion last night. But now he'll probably never get another title shot again. But on the bright side, Cormier might be the best babyface champion the Ultimate has ever had. Much like Michael Strahan of Live with Kelly and Michael fame, Cormier is a non-threatening black man who is just urban enough for housewives to still fantasize about.
So all you guys saying that Rockhold/Souza are a real threat to Weidman... why is that?, what advantages do they have over Weidman?
They're big dude that are probably better grapplers than Wildman.
Cowboy, Arlovski and Bader fighting for a belt, what a hilarious world we live in.
