Digging deep into 2011 for something to troll about. You're better than that.
The next UFC live event, which isn't until 4/14, will now be headlined by Thiago Silva vs. Alexander Gustafsson.
god, f off.

I wonder if Chael will keep trolling Brazil or just focus on Anderson.
I want the "American Gangster from Oregon" to come out to the Octagon dressed like Apollo Creed in Rocky IV.Which would be appropriate for what Anderson will do to him.
Only if the music he comes out to is Living in America as well
This card is blowing my mind right now.

On Tuesday, MMA Fighting began to ask company president Dana White if he was reconsidering his decision to shut the door on a Sylvia return, but he didn't even need to wait for the question to be finished before giving an emphatic response.
"Hell no," he said. "Hell no."

is this for real or is this a more elaborate joke thread than the beloved OT2?
I was expecting this to to be the Bruce Lee or the "What martial art would you like to learn" thread. A lot of ninjas uppins.
It's kind of strange to talk about how the HW division used to be so sad. That thing is such a joke. Tank could probably make the top 10 these days.
Fedor said:Of course, I want to compete at home, in front of my countrymen, the Last Emperor stressed. But at the moment, the strongest and most respected MMA organization is situated in America. Its the UFC. Therefore, I have to go to the US in order to face the strongest opponents.
Sherdog's various 10's updated. Uh-oh:

10. Brendan Schaub (8-2)
Schaub seemed to be narrowing in on a title shot prior to his surprising upset loss at the hands of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in Rio de Janeiro this past August. The Hybrid will return to the cage April 21 at UFC 145 in Atlanta, where he will take on another heavyweight looking to recover lost hype in Ben Rothwell.
Other contenders:
Fedor Emelianenko, Mark Hunt, Cole Konrad, Mike Russow, Antonio Silva.
He's a comin'
Would be fun if he did join the UFC and went on a Mark Hunt-esque winning streak.
Oh man. I can't believe I fell for that shit...http://i.imgur.com/KuGsj.gif
Despite the fact I could see him losing against certain fighters in both the LHW and HW division I still want Fedor to fight in the UFC before he retires.Would be fun if he did join the UFC and went on a Mark Hunt-esque winning streak.

What the hell did Schaub do to be in the Top 10? I don't believe that neither Gonzaga nor Mirko were highly ranked when he fought them.
I think Fedors decline is way too overblown. Im calling that fight with Werdum a fluke. Just like Mir/Lesnar 1. He only legit got beat down by Bigfoot, which was competitive in the 1st round. The Hendo fight can be argued as an early stoppage, if not than there is no shame loosing to Hendo, dude hits harder than any HW in thr UFC anyways. Fedor still beats Mir, Carwin, Cain, Nog and maybe JDS. People love hating on the guy.
When I was, like, 20 years old, I had this voice-mail message that said, Hi, this is Jon Bones Jones, the light heavyweight champ. I was speaking it into existence and carrying myself like I was the champion way before I was even in the UFC. Its crazy that it all played out. I want to change our sport with something positive, to brighten up peoples lives and get them to look more on the positive side about every little thing Sometimes I look back, and I want to be rude to people who didnt believe in me. But thats not what I do. I try to treat everybody with love. But when I go home now, to the people who treated me like a loser, Im, like, the hero of our whole town. My road wasnt easy, by any means. Thats why when people call me cocky, its, like, the biggest blow I can get. Its like, Its not me! Im sorry Im coming across that way. I dont think Im better than anyone. I heard this story once of this football player who, whenever he scored, just handed the ball to the ref. And I thought that was really cool, like, This is what I do. I score touchdowns. I wasnt trying to be cocky or anything, but thats what I was thinking: This is what I do. I defend my title.
Looks like the UFC taking a few months off did the PPVs some good. Unofficial UFC 146 card:
Junior Dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem
Frank Mir vs. Cain Velasquez
Edson Barboza vs. Evan Dunham
Roy Nelson vs. Antonio Silva
Dan Hardy vs. Duane "Bang" Ludwig
Diego Brandao vs. Darren Elkins
C.B. Dollaway vs. Jason "Mayhem" Miller
Shane Del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Kyle Kingsbury vs. Glover Teixeira
Paul Sass vs. Jacob Volkmann
No duds.
I'll say the Werdum fight is a fluke, but he got sat on by Bigfoot and couldn't do anything(at least according to my recollections of the fight). As for Hendo I still felt Herb Dean called it early, but that might just be the fan in me.I think Fedors decline is way too overblown. Im calling that fight with Werdum a fluke. Just like Mir/Lesnar 1. He only legit got beat down by Bigfoot, which was competitive in the 1st round. Everyone's happy with that card. It's gonna suck.
