Anti-Brit GAF loves the MMA threads, Bisping is a dick but a competent one and Mayhem has nothing for him, some people pick based on what they want to happen rather than logic.

He will still get killed by most of the top 5 MW's but Mayhem is just a gimme for him.

I found it interesting that they started using the same high speed cameras that Strikeforce has always used to get that ultra stylized slow motion footage.

Also, seeing Mandalay Bay all set up for a big UFC show but completely empty was pretty cool too.
strikeforce probably nothing to do with it, was probably all cbs/showtime.

regardless, just so glad to see the ufc get out of the dark ages, production wise.

Just saw the TUF14 premiere. A lot of good fights and some nice prospects. My prediction for the winner (or at least someone that will be in the UFC one day):

xw5Np.jpg

From what little I saw he seemed to be the most well rounded. Nice striking, nice wrestling, good cardio, tons of heart.

Also kudos to mah boy Dennis Bermudez making in to the house.

TJ Dillashaw?

that dude is way too reckless, his hands were down the whole time and he ate some good shots. put him in there with a top guy he gets KTFO'd easy.

My prediction stands!

BTW - can we have a TUF14 thread so we can discuss mma news here without being spoiled? I would do it but I wouldn't have the diligence to make it pretty or keep it updated.

I might be a little biased from Norcal, but I'm with you. His strength is his wrestling which wasn't even on display.

Dodson and Brimage looked great too.

A lot of those alpha male guys like to do the hands down wide striking and they pay for it pretty often against people that know how to box.

a parlay with QRJ and Matt Hughes pays out like crazy, $50 pays out $1250. i might do that for shits. a parlay with QRJ, Hughes, and Gomi would be nuts.

Rampage and Jones on Sports Center
Cant wait for this thing to go down Im a Rampage fan for life and although hes not as dynamic as he used to be no one should count him out because hes a proven fighter and a proven champ.

WAR RAMPAGE!!

Yeah...K-1 had a UStream for their last event, but it looks like you might have to register to NicoVideo this time around.

For anyone who wants to watch, here's their account registration page. Put your email in the silver box and press the black button to get started. Google Chrome translation helps a lot after that.

Aww damn it, I tuned in too late to see Rodgers embarrass himself. Oh well I'll settle for Varner embarassing himself.

Fell asleep after Titan, just woke up without an alarm (a big victory already!). Who else is watching DREAM live?

VTR is starting!

I'm gonna try to stay up but I never make it to the end, haha.

This might be the smallest crowd I've ever seen at DREAM. One of the better cards in a while too. Not good...

For me the big test is the intermission. If I can make it through that, I'm good. I want to watch this in its entirety, then Manchester City-Everton immediately after, then sleep after the game is over throughout the afternoon until 5 or 6ish

edit: ONE MINUTE IN HEAVEN

WAR MINOWAMAN! SUPER HLUK CHAMP!
