To clarify, the 4★ total is not counting the 3★ number (so it'll be 18+26 total).
Plus you can (apparently?) buy the cards in the Ability Shop once you've summoned them once, which should be "stronger" for fusing than the scroll versions (and Mog Amulets can take another layer of hurt off).

I'm still tripping that the game has as much VO as it does. I still can't believe phones can do this level of quality.
With that said though, why are these games always so unnecessarily dense with clutter and crap. Just let me select my abilities, equip items and fight. Why do we have to have all these cards and systems and numbers and gauges and pages beyond what's already in a normal RPG?
This (and probably all of the games in its vein, from Granblue to Record Keeper) are games for people who like min-maxing and crunching numbers. They have systems on top of systems because... The players like these games that way.
Garland is reasonable.
I'm actually surprised that the MC isn't completely intolerable. Which is surprising because the setup is pretty similar to FFX - thrown into a completely foreign world with no understanding on the laws of the land.

Some iffy lines aside, he's more or less inoffensive. They could have done without some of the usual cliches - the amnesia would be totally unnecessary if he'd know nothing about the game's world regardless, for example - but they could have done a lot worse when executing that very standard template.

Dammit, I knew I should have gotten the ffrk 2 pack instead of job. I'm one summon ticket away now :/ Hope that I can somehow get one more before they go away.
Also wish you could buy summon tickets with magicite. Would just buy the one and be done with it

A summon ticket is the equivalent of 500 Magicite. You can buy the FFRK pack right now but it would cost you 5 tickets and 500 Magicite.

I'm just glad that pictlogia cards don't seem like a must have, so I can just focus on getting jobs this month.
With chapter 3, infinite arena, multiplayer rewards and mobius box, should be able to clear out quite a few jobs from the pool with summon tickets.

Interesting that we're getting the pictologica cards since the game was never localized for western audiences.
Interesting idea for 8 days though I don't like the idea of special bonuses occurring only 3 days of a month.

Yeah it's still pretty decently sized. It comes in two parts and I think Chapter 4 did too.

It's looking like we are getting 5th to 8th job panels next month
Then we are getting 5* cards in December, along with the first legendary summon event ,which I believe is 6 random cards with a guaranteed 4* card and a job for 6 summon tickets/3000 magicite (crazy good deal, I'm saving for this) and the first premium job, Ace Striker (Tidus) which apparently is levelled up through crystals rather than skillseeds.
When you use the Acer Striker job the attack animations change and the battle theme changes to the battle theme from FFX. This is the case for most of the premium jobs i think. It definitely does for the Cloud and Squall jobs

It all looks highly speculative though.
Also wondering why they didn't announce the Halloween event, unless it will come as a surprise event.

I maxed out my 4 Warriors of Light card this morning, feels good.
I think I'll probably math a comfortable Ability Card + Mobius Day + Mog Amulet formula for the rest, not sure I have the fortitude to do that again (well, maybe one more time since my weekend job is pretty quiet).

You would need 35 Ability Tickets and 2 Mog Amulets to max out a 4★ card if it was already max 3★ (on a Mobius Day).

It's not really worth it.
You can upgrade the common enemy mages from Chapter 1 for Blizzard, you can easily get the Ice Sword from blue chocobos, and you can upgrade the common enemy from Chapter 2 for Icefang. It's too much stamina and too inconsistent to try to get it from the arena.
I was thinking the stamina cost was too much... Thanks for the confirmation.

The Star Essence has been renamed to Celestriad.
You get them by pulling duplicate ability cards in the card summons. 3* summon dupes get 2, 4* summon dupes get 5, and for the 6 pack, you only get 1 for each dupe.
The Celestriads will let you get an Overbooster-J or a Summon Ticket. The Overbooster-J increases the level of a specific job, which would increase your health, attack, magic, and other stats.

This is really cool because iirc, they only just announced overbooster on a jp stream. They never even mentioned it to us before so this is a nice surprise. Probably still going to be a while before anyone does this unless you bought alot of magicite.
You get 32 (?) levels max from this, so you need 96 Celestriads which (if you game the greater ability pull by buying the cards with tickets) will be around 36 pulls. So just for min-maxing.
Finally finished maxing out my 2nd job (Ranger > Explorer). Chapter 3 is going to be a great training ground. Love to see for myself as to why this job is so sucky (although I've immediately noticed it only has 5* in Speed which is going to be a little awkward to adjust to from my 6* Speed EdgeLord).
1 less Speed is exactly why it's so sucky. 1 less action per turn adds up very quickly.

Feels like it wasn't intended. Didn't they already give darkseeds as a reward?
At least I'm done with Tyro so I can just farm Ifrit and finish it real fast.

Do you mean the Mog Amulet and such?
It was a bug or something, those were the rewards from last week and were mysteriously replenished after the update if you already bought them (meaning I got two Amulets and Extractors, woo).

Had 6 summon tickets from the gift box and 3k magicite, did 2 job pulls trying to get Dragoon and got normal Mage and Dark Knight. Bleh. I think I'm going to work on Dark Knight though, I want to start building up some Warrior class decks since I'm primarily mage focused at the moment.
