The 3DS games essentially had this as well.
Tracking bugs level up as you find evidence, then marks the monster like a paintball once you find it.

UI and map are really nice.
Everything could run on any modern platform (Switch, laptop, etc) from what is shown so far. Good old MT Framework.
What did you expect? This is likely the only polished part of the game right now.

For better or worse, I'm sure there will be plenty of quests in order to familiarize with the map. Because yeah, it totally looks huge.

I might check it out when it comes out if the reviews are good, never played MH. I just fear Capcom has way too much faith in the reach it might have in the west but we shall see.
