Metropolis will kick off the New Year at Adult Swim. It will air at midnight on Saturday, January 1, 2005. So Metropolis will be the very first Adult Swim program of the New Year.

Also, Inuyasha will take a break (from new Saturday episodes) after October 16. New episodes of Inuyasha will start to air again beginning Wednesday, December 22. Also, Full Metal Alchemist is now once again set to air on Saturday, November 6, at midnight with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex following it at 12:30.

Also, Adult Swim will begin airing the Super Milk-Chan Show at 12:30 on November 7. They're saying that this will be a straight dub of the Japanese version of the show and not the Americanized version.

Squidbillies makes its pilot debut on Sunday, November 7, at 11:30.

Tom Goes to the Mayor will premiere Sunday, November 14, at 11:30.

And finally, the Untitled Seth Green Project will debut Sunday, January 16, at 11:30.

Looks like Adult Swim is going to be a very different place come November.

What ever happened to the show with the two PIs and the talking car?

Stroker and Hoop? I heard they were putting it into the AS lineup but I hope they get rid of it quickly.

That was just a pilot? I thought they aired one episode, and the backlash was so horrible that they immediately gave it the axe. :)

... Seriously.

Didn't they do the same with The Venture Bros.?

Yeah. Same thing with the Squidbillies mentioned in the first post.

At SDCC, people kept asking why when there hasn't even been a pilot shown, they already locked in to 96 episodes of Squidbillies. They said that was a typo and it was 196. The guys behind the show said they were lazy and it was super easy work to the point that if they were given the choice between doing Squidbillies or ATHF, Squidbillies would win, hands down.
