I'm not sure what the SC2 Ivy bit has to do with anything? And who cares if it's not nearly the same as MVC3? It's a different game with different mechanics. It's like this concept is beyond so many people.
At any rate, the point I was making was that there are definitely easily hitconfirmable strings in MK9. I haven't gone through the entire cast, but out of the handful I've tried, they all have at least a single, very easily hitconfirmable string.
