Yes, there are spoilers. Some of the spoilery stuff from Story mode results in spoilery stuff being unlocked for the main game.
I think 6 hours is the general consensus I'm hearing out of some of the guys who got it early plus most of the devs from NRS. A few have put it up to 8 hours or so... I'm guessing it takes longer than 6 hours if you have trouble beating some of the opponents.

After seeing some unboxing videos of the book ends though I do like the look of them, no idea why everything is mixed up with most pal places getting a steelbook while the uk does not, and different KE figures.

Also, I have to post this here... because this is how I feel about this game
There's a trial of at least 48 hours.FTH said:Hey guys, thinking about jumping back in to the fighting game arena after the let down that was MvC3, just wondering if online is fre--

Oh, I see! Well that's better than nothing..fernoca said:There's a trial of at least 48 hours.
No confirmation if it's 48 actual hours or just 2 consecutive days. Though 99% sure it's just 2 days. There's no way they'll give 48 individual hours of use for free.
infinityBCRT said:Very small spoiler for the first 5 minutes of the Story mode (I've only watched the intro)
Raiden fighting Taven is the first flashback that you see in Raiden's strange visions. That probably means that just before fighting Shao Kahn, Raiden defeated Taven. Which presumably means Taven probably defeated Blaze before that.

Yeah me too.paranoidfortean said:speaking of getting hyped for old games, back in the day i used to tear all magazine pages out that were dedicated to the game, then put them in the clear page holders and have it all organized together. MK and NBA Jam were among the select few that got this treatment.

Also, that crouching fan poke Kitana has looks really annoying.

To everyone that plays fighting games on at least a moderate level, what do you think the best way to deal with projectile spam in MK will be? Just on point jump patterns? Countering with special moves that go through (Jade kick), behind (Scorpion tele punch), above (Mileena kick) or under (Sector punch)?
