AI on 2 v 1 fight blocks very little, get in their face and punch them away, x-rays are usually free too.
As for teleports, you get used to them, you have to adjust your mindset somewhat on this game to be either blocking or moving.
Recover on teleport moves is forever though. The 1v2 fights are frustrating but those are the fights that get you to really learn how to chain combos with the character you're using (and sometimes Boss fights fall under this category). I'd NEVER ever learn how to use Kitana if it weren't for Story mode because I find her moves have really really low damage and its not easy to pick up how to play with her initially.
Anyone check the official MK forums? Are the developers aware of the volume level issue on the PS3? You have to crank the volume up about 3x higher than everything else on the system just to get normal volume levels, even with the sliders maxxed out. This is one of my pet peeves when this happens. (like in MvC2 360). Incredibly annoying. I never understand how this happens. I find it an inexcusable goof. It only takes doing anything else with sound before or after playing.

Is there an online resource yet where we can view photos of all the alt costumes?
I want to eventually unlock them all but I don't want to waste time or koins on some of these costumes that are boring subtle differences from the original costumes. Sometimes you can't even tell them apart because they're so similar.

Also, people on eBay are dumb. They were paying more for the Jade skin than the DVD cost. 360 skins seem more valuable. I guess that means PS3 sales must be better.

I'm not sure about iPad stuff, but for those who have android phones, there's an app called Mortal Kombat Moves or something that has all of the MK game move lists easily viewed for free. The developer had the mk9 demo move list, and soon will put up the full game list when more of them are discovered.dexterslu said:

I finally got a chance to pop in my launch day copy last night and all I can say is wow. What an awesome game. I got a few chapters of the story done and a handful of rungs on the Challenge Ladder. There is so much bang for your buck in this game and I haven't even touched online yet. I'm having so much fun with it that it's pulled me away from The Show and I haven't opened my copy of SOCOM yet.

The first patch was 30MB. That in it self makes me think there was some secret content that they pushed in there that we don't know about. I don't think Executables are usually that big.Seraphis Cain said:

Ermac classic is worth keeping, he looks so cool in the classic red look, In fact they all do, the classic costume is really well made.
I just wish the females had MK2 outfits, was never keen on the MK3 look for the women so I still have my mileena and jade codes unused.
