I feel like I started this game way too late already. I feel like I've already missed the curve on multiplayer.
Look at the 2009 FGC players. Some of the early adapters are still there, but there's a huge percentage of players who came on board after the 90's 2D era shifted. Predator isn't even out yet.
I'd think their DLC cast would try to sell the game months later.
Which is what I don't get. They need to sell the game beyond its first year. It needs to be around till the next MK comes out. A customer should feel welcomed when they buy that new entry a year after it launches. Otherwise what value are you giving each fighting game? In the 90s you went back and forth at times. Each game was different. I played XMvsSF, went to MvsSF, and then ended with MvsC. Now a days it stays on a fighter, it gets dropped for the next entry, and then that's it. I don't even want to think what's going to happen to SFIV when SFV comes out? Is there a reason to keep playing SFIV after V is out for a solid year? Who is still playing MK9?
I haven't seen the console MK's (DA,Deception, Armageddon) since Maximilian had them on his stream prior to MKX's release. Otherwise I had not seen Armageddon since it was out on PS2. I mainly played those on GC and PS2 by myself.
