The reflections, mirror effect on objects was the N64 signature for me, lots of game used this for the objects pick ups like Turok and the shards or health.
When the Zelda technical demo was given with Link fighting a knight with reflections, I imagined it as ray tracing...
I was disappointed in reality, I thought the character was really reflected.
I'm ahead of my time and generations... Until now we have it on PS5 .
