So I just downloaded some MPC files, and iTunes doesn't recognize them. How do I convert them to mp3?

Did you check all the plug-ins for Winamp?

MPC, MusePack, use MPC Direct Show Filter for playback, There's also tools to convert them to MP3, but the best way to convert them would be to use the MPC plug-in for Nero (NeroPlugins.cd-rw.org), which you can also encode MPC tracks with, but personally I think converting them to MP3 would be pointless.

dont try to use a plugin for winamp, they'll sound horrible. download foobar to play them. or you can use foobar to decrompess them into wav files (open the track, right click and you'll find "convert" on the menu) and then use cd-da to reconvert the wav into mp3s of your specification.
