Chapter 16 and 17 i believe.
Still going with the 2 ch per episode
2 epsiodes left between 5 chapters.USJ ends at 22 (IIRC) so at the rate they are going it should be a couple chapters per episode.
Fuck, why is this season only 13 episodes again? They could cover so much more with the source material. I already miss the anime, hope that season 2 won't take long to air.
Only Eraser Head can cancel out quirks. It looks like Izuku finally kept the egg from exploding (so to speak), but the lessened power output barely dented a villain who was made to kill All Might.I'm not sure he does have control of it. Obviously the manga guys can't answer because spoilers, but I thought it was a case of the big dude negating the quirk? And that's why the villains are confident that they have a chance against All Might.
To be fair, Eraser Head went for the top-tier threats.Man, I love how the teachers were getting their asses kicked and the students were just cleaning up.
Wow I'm surprised you didn't.KAMINARI was incredible!
Also that Kirishima Bakugou friendship moment.
Pretty intense episode, I never read these chapters so seeing all this go down even got my hyped. I cant wait for the dub of it.
Also brutal Aizawa
oh man the ending to that episode. I gotta say that normally I am not a fan of the overly strong main character type but I freaking love all might. Seeing him pissed off is really awesome too. My only concern is the fact that he has already overexerted himself. I am gonna wait on reading the manga till the show has finished its run which should be in like 2 weeks?
I loved this episode all the way around
New bad guys are interesting. I wonder what the guy with the hands' deal is. Seems he can wither flesh away and is pretty fast. Giant guy with exposed brain is strange, wouldn't that be a major weakness? And once again mass teleporters prove that even if they fuck up their skill is too valuable to give up, lol.
I never considered that he weakened the punch - probs to avoid collateral damage - so yeah that could be it. Can't wait for the next episode!Only Eraser Head can cancel out quirks. In theory, only Deku could give the villains a run for their money, but he still has a ways to go before he's as skilled with One for All as All Might.I never considered that he weakened the punch - probs to avoid collateral damage - so yeah that could be it. Can't wait for the next episode!
I didn't really think much of Aizawa beforehand, and always thought the students had better Quirks, but damn he jumped right in even though his Quirk isn't suited for fighting for that long, against those numbers, fully knowing eventually he'd get his ass whooped/killed and still did it anyway. What a boss.
Got it, can't wait to find out what it is.Youll have to wait until season 2 (or read the manga) to find out Izukus hero name. Im not gonna put it in spoilers cause i think its a really nice surprise and sweet as well.
A number of the students have tremendously powerful quirks; Izuku, Todoroki, Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, Tokoyami and Iida probably have quirks that would put a lot of pro heroes to shame. I can't wait until they use their quirks more exotically and take them beyond their most obvious uses. Hopefully Horikoshi does something with that...In theory, only Deku could give the villains a run for their money, but he still has a ways to go before he's as skilled with One for All as All Might.
Which reminds me, once Izuku masters One for All & graduates from UA, would he take up the All Might name or just stick with Deku?

I read the manga and am current with it but I don't recall a name for any of the students yet. Maybe I've just forgotten.
Apparently the Anime was green-lit just after the release of the first volume. Which means it would have been when the manga was at around where we are right now.
There wasn't any additional source material that could have included in the planning of the first season.
Jump acted way too quickly. In normal cases the Anime of jump Animes gets announced somewhere between chapter 60-80 (depending on several things), and the first episode mostly doesn't air until the manga hits the triple digits.
In case of Hero Academia, the Anime got announced, started airing, and will end all before the source material celebrates its second birthday.
I've never seen this go by so damn fast.
??? That's Jumps new anime model.
See Assassination Classroom, Haikyuu, Shokugeki no Soma
Yes all of these series had about 100 chapters when the anime released, but they were also all 2-cour. Hero Academia will surely be back with a 24 episode season next year (guessing January).
