After seeing all 10 episodes thus far, i can say without a doubt that this is one of my favourite shows ever.
I get MAD Reborn! Vibes from it, and that is my favourite show bar none.

what is the likelihood of getting more of my hero academia after episode 13? I hate watching a show and it ending when things are starting to get good. One punch man did a good job leaving me satisfied but interested in what the future could hold for the show without leaving me in cliffhanger central

Quirk also emphasizes that it isnt a "power" because everybody in this world has a power, and not every quirk is some super ultra attack, its firmly in xmen territory where it can be any and everything and your born with it without it being a accident or being a alien to begin with.

Todoroki is the best part of the show hands down I'd follow him as Mc lol
they already made that show it's called avatar the last airbender
It's the first time since trying to save Kacchan when he's placed in actual danger as well, and the first time there's no actual safety net. Even before he leaped to Kacchan's safety back during the second episode he reasoned beforehand that he wanted to wait it out for another hero to show up (which ended up happening), but this was the first time he was actually left to his own devices in a potentially life threatening situation and no real way out.

Whining is really annoying when it's done every fucking episode. It's the same with the emo anger kids constant raging.
The show really needs good main characters and not these garbage guys. There isn't even any joy in them.
It's actually inverted, which is probably fitting what with the ice powers

I get that its still early in his career as mini all might but im getting tired of him breaking something every time he unleashes his power
Never thought of it that way but yeah I can see it. Never whines, emotionally independent, loyal, disciplined. Mature beyond his years.

I honestly dont understand the deku being whiny comments unless its the high pitch or being flustered/muttering is whining.
I feel like some people saw Deku being weak in the first few eps and assume that if he hasn't gotten 100% over it, it doesn't count
plus stereotyping characters to be something they aren't, like Bakugou being "emo"

And Quirk is a very apt translation for kosei, both can mean something psichological or physical, and it sounds flashy enough to work in a super hero story.
And more to the point (Manga + ATLA spoilers)
while they both have father issues, Shouto's deal is he went all-out rejecting his father, while Zuko for the first two thirds of the series struggled with the fact he still desperately needed his father's approval
I... actually really wonder if Hiroshiki watched ATLA. We know he's a Westaboo, but is he a reverse Westaboo too?!?!?!?
